The report came in this Sunday evening, right before the World Series game. “You made a big mistake” said the caller. “You left out Ron Humphries on your list of the “Bailey Group’” Bailey’s “group” consists of Dennis Bailey. Kevin Whisnant, David Allen, Robert Queen AND Ron Humphries. I am sure Wes Westmoreland is slinking around, lurking, in the background. Ted Alexander too!
I stand corrected. I believe Ron Humphries WAS included in the original report to me, but I mistakenly left Humphries out in my October 30, 2021 article. This article is intended to correct that original omission. Please accept my apologies. I hope you are not too inconvenienced by my mistake.
The caller then went on to provide additional information about the Rogue CC Republican “Group” who are holding meetings at Dennis Bailey’s house.
The caller said I was 1000% correct in the purpose of this group being to beat school board member Danny Blanton in the 2022 Republican Primary Election. “Blanton listens too much to parents” to suit Bailey’s group the caller explained. He also asks too many questions. But the Group is doing more.
They are recruiting younger Republicans and telling them that they can only get elected if the candidates follow their instruction. Those instructions are:
You have to run as a candidate and when you get elected, you have to become a “politician”. They go on to say, candidates must tell the voters what the voters wants to hear-transparency, cut waste, make changes, improve education, do what is in the best interest of the children and such. And when you get elected, then you must do what the “group” tells you to do. (Robert “Luke” Queen, Ron Humphries and others on the school board did just that in the 2020 Elections. And we took the bait, to our regret.)
On the school board, limit discussion and vote as a solid block. That way the public does not know what is going on.
Do not ever answer any questions from the public during public participation! What the public does not know won’t hurt them.
The Group is also telling their potential acolytes’ that they elected Tim Moore, Wes Westmoreland, Ted Alexander, Doug Bridges, Kevin Gordon, Ronnie Whetstine and others to office and they all owe allegiance to the Group!! (Most of those on this list were, at one time or another, appointed by the CC Republican Party Executive Committee. Also, an insinuation to the school board candidate recruits, that the CC GOP Executive Committee is run, operated and totally influenced by Dennis Bailey’s “Group.”
The caller also stated that some of the candidates Dennis Bailey and his “Group” are trying to recruit are refusing to go along with the lies that they are being taught to tell. Good for them!!! However, I am sure those that do go along with the lying the Group is teaching them to do will be taught to say that very same thing. That they are independent thinking candidates and would not submit to such tactics as the Group is telling them to employ. Therefore, it is up to US to separate the good from the bad and the ugly!!!
Since the 2022 Elections are some time away, yet we know foul play is going on; we must arm ourselves with knowledge of each candidate and what their true intentions are. Perhaps do our own interviews and ask our own questions-with follow-up research.
I will certainly do my part in that regard. I am still disappointed in myself for allowing Luke Queen to pull the wool over my eyes in the 2020 election. And, I have lots of company!!!
Also, since the Cleveland County Republican Party’s “Executive Committee,” seemingly limited in North Carolina, to Cleveland County only, the CC GOP bylaws should be amended to eliminate this fool idea that the CCGOP should have an executive committee to begin with. Abolish this fool executive committee and bring the power of the Republican Party back to the rank and file members of the CC Republican Party. Immediately!!! And, elect a new Chairman of the CCGOP. Anybody but Dennis Bailey and those in his “Group.”
And, last but not least, re-elect Danny Blanton to the School Board in the 2022 Elections. Other recommendations will follow.
