Many parents and concerned citizens are up in arms about Cleveland County Schools indoctrinating our children with Critical Race Theory (CRT) and other socialist agendas. School Board Chairman Robert “Luke” Queen says that CCS is NOT teaching CRT, although many, including myself believe Luke Queen is lying about that. That CRT is being taught under a different name.
Today, September 2, 2021 I received a call that Kings Mountain High School 10th Grade Civics/Economics Class gave a Pop Quiz to a class full of students. One child was accidently given two copies of that pop quiz and stashed one to take home to her mother.
The rest is history. That Pop Quiz was posted on Facebook for all to see. I was appalled when I read through the Facebook entry and the content of the test questions.
So, I have taken screen-shots of that Facebook entry, eliminated any and all evidence of the person who posted it and have attached it below.
Read the Facebook entry introduction and the two page “pop-quiz” for yourself. Ask yourself the question, is this what I want taught to my child? And then come to the School Board Meeting on September 13, 2021, Tell Luke Queen, the rest of the School Board and Superintendent Stephen Fisher what you think. Be prepared to be lied to. I will be there taking notes.
Also, Folks, I have requested, under the Freedom of Information Act and North Carolina Public Records laws, for a copy of all lesson plans for all schools for all grades at Cleveland County Schools. Luke Queen, the School Board and Superintendent Stephen Fisher have not provided a response to my request for information. Now I know why the disobey the law. The have lots to hide.
