Editor’s Note: Robert A has possession of official documented information obtained in 2002 related to the disappearance of Asha Degree that he will share with Attorney David Teddy should any formal criminal charges ever be brought against Roy Lee Dedmon or any family member.
The Cleveland County Sheriff’s Department, the State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) are all at it again. Grasping at straws trying to cover-up their long-time (25 years) search for the missing Asha Degree that ALWAYS turns up ZERO!!! And, will likely continue to turn up ZERO until Hell freezes over.
Folks, Robert A is like everybody else in wishing and hoping that Asha Degree can be found alive and well, if she is still alive. And any perpetrator(s) of crimes against Asha Degree be caught and punished to the fullest extent allowed by law. Even to the death penalty!! IF such an arrest, based on good evidence can be found. All based on legally obtained evidence that is properly presented to a fair jury and the verdict is beyond any reasonable doubt.
But what has happened in the past six months or so to Roy Lee Dedmon and his family has been way too close to an old-fashioned Witch-Hunt to tell any difference!!! Any difference at All. And all with the same MO:
- The HIGH-Public Visibility presence of Multi-Agency Law Enforcement on site with tipped-off News Reporters close behind.
- Many unofficial Statements made to the News Media that state nothing official can be released.
- The Press cameras are rolling as Law Enforcement Agency personnel walk around the property searching for evidence that they never find.
- In the first incident on the Roy Lee Dedmon former home an old car is very publicly hauled away as evidence although the only similarity to the vehicle of interest was the color of the car.
- Facebook lights up with gossip of all kinds. As well as phony obituaries and made-up stories on top of unfounded exaggerations and character assassinations of all of all kinds that cannot be proven at all. Bodies were reported to have been found when there were no bodies found.
- Phone lines ate tapped.
- No Arrests by Law Enforcement are made because nothing illegal or pertinent can be proven or even found to begin with.
It certainly becomes obvious that the various Law Enforcement Agencies are colluding to convict the Dedmon family in the Court of Public Opinion for crimes they can’t even prove were committed. Like Murder or Kidnapping or anything else.
And, what about the DNA evidence from the Asha’s alleged bookbag that they claim had been traced to one of the Dedmon Children? And one to a man who had been dead for 10 years? By all accounts DNA identification requires an unknown person’s DNA to be matched with DNA from sample positively known to be from a person of interest. How did they ever get that DNA sample from a person who had been dead for ten-years? Or Match another unknown DNA Sample to a Dedmon Daughter when there around 330 Million people in the United States. And, HOW and why would they ever have a DNA Sample from the Dedmon Daughter in the first place to determine such a match?
Then, Law Enforcement tapped the phones of, or somehow forced Cell phone communications holders to obtain text messages between the Dedmon daughters and others. Then took certain phrases out of context to present a second round of a trial by public opinion in hopes of forcing some kind of confession. Causing scandal number 2.
Now, Law Enforcement is searching other properties once owned by the Dedmons at the intersection of Highway 182 and Highway 274 in Lincoln County. This time they did NOT obtain a search warrant. Most likely because a search warrant requires going before a judge with probable cause. Which generates a Public Record. And they were totally embarrassed whey their first set of search warrants was obtained by Attorney David Teddy. Who, in turn, made Law Enforcement into a bunch of dumb-asses the first go-round.
Back to the latest property search over in Lincoln County. Robert A is very familiar with that old run- down school property that is on his way to Lincolnton. Robert A has often wondered why that old school has never been demolished and used for other purposes? Robert A’s conclusion is one word. ASBESTOS!! That School was built when asbestos was very often used extensively in building construction. And, as time passed without demolition of the school, the removal requirements for asbestos have gotten to be more and more extensive and more and more cost prohibitive. Many such old buildings are still standing because the present owners cannot afford the costs of removing the asbestos.
Robert A concludes that Law enforcement will NOT be poking around inside any of those buildings looking for anything. Or, let any of their Police Tracking Dogs into the buildings either. That this is all just another shameful publicity stunt and the Asha Degree mystery will continue to go unsolved. Just like the Jimmy Hoffa and Lindberg Baby’s cases.
