According to a CC Commissioner’s Press Release published in the May 3rd Shelby Star” it says that on May 21, 2024, the foolish, reckless and wasteful spending CC Commissioners have scheduled a so-called “Dedication Ceremony” of an unnecessary new Justice Center “Foundation.” Although this “foundation” for the ill-conceived and poorly planned Justice Center presently consists of large muddy field with several deep pits that some have dubbed “Carp Ponds.” “Tours” of this foundation start at 3 PM, Ceremony starts at 4 PM!! Over by 5PM. Expect 99% of attendees to be “on-the-clock” County Employees and officials who will all be patting themselves on the back. For conceiving this most expensive county managed project-EVER!! Also, the weather forecast for the late afternoon of May 21st calls for plenty of rain. Be sure to bring your own umbrellas, Hip “Mud” Boots and wear old clothes. This so-called Dedication Ceremony of a muddy constructions site is expected to be just as poorly planned and poorly executed as the Justice Center planning and construction execution has turned out to be for the past several years.
Also, folks, do not expect the Commissioners and other officials to tell you the truth about the verified needs for and the true costs of this project or much of anything else. And, please do not ask the Commissioners why they will be spending, all told, around $500 Million of Cleveland County taxpayer dollars and perhaps much more on this new Jail and Courts complex. All the while the Commissioners, according to the CCS School Board Finance Committee Chairman Joel Shores says the Commissioners have no plans to spend a dime on new school construction. Even though the Average Age of a Cleveland County School is almost 60 years old and the average age of the present Jail and Courthouse is only around 40 years old.
Folks, May is Budget Month for the Cleveland County Commissioners. The Commissioners have been telling folks that their financial planning is good, smart and sound. If you believe those tall-tales and lies, Robert A has some cheap ocean front property up above Casar that he will sell to you for a cheap price.

Not only will the present taxpayers of Cleveland County be taxed severely over this over-priced Justice Center Project, but so will our Children, Grandchildren, and Great-Grand Children end up with a debt load that they will find very hard to pay. Be prepared to be pissed off when you find out the truth about the lies Commissioners Kevin Gordon, Deb Hardin, Johnny Hutchins and Doug Bridges have been telling YOU!!!
Also, folks, the 2024 Elections for Cleveland County Commissioners are NOT over yet. Upon much consideration Robert A will be voting for and be recommending others to also vote for the following candidates for the three open offices for CC Commissioners on Nov 5th in the 2024 General Elections for Cleveland County Commissioners.
