Ms. Sandra Stroud took a fall at her home this past Friday breaking her left hip and femur along with some lacerations. She was taken to the Atrium Hospital in Shelby and on Sunday received a hip replacement and a metal rod installed in the broken femur. Please Pray for Ms. Stroud to make a full and speedy recovery.
Also note that Ms. Stroud, under the circumstances, is in good spirits. Ms. Stroud told Robert A that she might not be able to get around well for a while, “but at least I can sit in a wheelchair and write some editorial articles for you.” Cleveland County needs more good citizens like Ms. Sandra Stroud.
