Dear fellow Citizens, Parents and Taxpayers:
The pleasure of your company is cordially invited to the Special Called Meeting of the Cleveland County School Board scheduled for this coming Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at 6:00 PM. The location is the CCS Central Services Building Auditorium located at 400 West Marion Street in Shelby, NC.
The Program for this meeting is shown below. As you will see, the meeting starts with a Meeting Opening that is followed by an Invocatiion. This Invocation is scheduled to be “A Moment of Silence.”
When this Moment of Silence is called, all persons in attendance who are concerned about the Educational Emergency that has been called by the NC Governor, Bullying at CCS Schools, Vandalism and the destruction of School Property recently at Burns High School and the lack of a criminal investigation and arrests, are asked to RISE during this Invocation/Moment of Silence and remain standing as you silently Pray for 45-60 seconds that the School Board will take the right and proper actions for the many issues and problems that are presently interfering with CCS providing a sound basic education for the children of Cleveland County. Also, please include in your Prayer a request to our Maker to lead, guide and direct School Board Members Ronnie Grigg, Danny Blanton and Aaron Bridges in their continued investigation of the Vandalism at Burns High School that they have already begun.
Also include in your Prayer a request for Devine assistance for Samantha Davis in her quest at Parents Against Bullying, NC, LLC to eradicate Bullying at Cleveland County Schools.
Please note the following CCS Special Called Meeting Agenda (below) for the order of the Invocation in the meeting. And, remember to Rise and recite your silent Prayer for 45-60 seconds. Prepare your children to do the same. Let the School Board see for themselves the REAL reason that the School Board exists in the FIRST PLACE. And hopefully this demonstration will convince the School Board to stop their bickering and complaining and get on with the business of doing what is best to provide that right and proper education of our children. There is POWER in PRAYER and it is time for us citizens to do our part too.
