Brawls Commonplace at CCS Early College High School!!!?? Parents, join the battle to protect your children from Bullying at ALL Cleveland County Schools!! Gossip Report and how to fix recommendations by Robert A
Editor’s Note: Folks, by now you know that when Robert A calls a report a “Gossip Report, he is protecting the identity of a source. That Robert A believes the report is 100% true.
A recent message to Robert A that stated “Brawls at the CCS Early College High School (at the LeGrand Center) are commonplace.” And, why would Robert A NOT believe this? Brawls are now commonplace at just about every other CCS school. Except maybe for the elementary schools. Maybe. And the CCS Administration as well as the School Board refuses to talk about it or do anything. The School Board refuses to put these brawls, often recorded on students’ cell phones and posted on Facebook, on School Board Meeting Agendas. The same with bullying.
At the March 13, 2023 School Board meeting, Robert A reminded the School Board during Public Participation that “Nine Speakers in a row (later ten) had complained to the School Board that bullying” at CCS was real and should be immediately stopped. Also, a large contingent of the School board Meeting audience has taken up with silently protesting bullying with large signs at the past two school board meetings and are most likely NOT going to stop until the School Board takes real action and does something substantial AND effective about stopping bullying.
Robert A is now challenging every parent with kids at Cleveland County Schools to contact CCS School Superintendent Stephen Fisher as well as School Board Chairman Robert Queen (and all the school board members) and demand an item on the April School Board meeting agenda especially for the purpose of addressing the School Board to demand bullying to stopped immediately. And YOU parents are not asking, you are demanding that effective action be taken immediately. That YOU are not interested in waiting for “something (?)” to work its way through some sort of a nebulous “Chain of Command.” That if the School Board can’t or won’t do anything immediately, then they should IMMEDIATELY resign from the School Board and make way for others who WILL do something immediately to stop bullying.
This is what Robert A would do as the School Board Chairman at the Next School Board meeting to immediately stop bullying:
Have a motion made and passed to appoint the CCS Superintendent as the person charged with the total responsibility and accountability to immediately put an end to bullying.
That the time limit would be exactly one week.
That upon any report of bullying be made after that one-week period,
A New Superintendent would be immediately appointed and also charged with immediately stopping bullying. And Stephen Fisher be fired (for cause) immediately for not performing his duty as required by the School Board.
Repeat this simple process as necessary until there are NO incidences of bullying at any CCS school.
Do the same for fighting and brawling.
Editor’s Note #2: Robert A is NOT blowing smoke here. There are already laws, rules and policies in place to effectively stop bullying. They just have to be followed. CCS would only have to do what they are already charged with doing. The only reason CCS schools still have incidents of bullying is THEY are NOT doing their jobs properly. Which is the very same reason CCS and the School Board are presently facing a Federal Lawsuit brought against them by XYZ. Oh Yeah! There is a second Federal Lawsuit against CCS, almost to the point of trial, brought by another person. Sexual Harassment and CCS not doing anything about it. And a possible second or third Sexual Harassment lawsuit that is most likely in its beginning stages. With Supt. Stephen Fisher and others in cover-up mode. More about that later. In another article.
