Editor’s Note: The Crest High School Future Farmers of America (FFA) provided this Press Release regarding a recent event they hosted in conjunction with Poplar Springs Baptist Church and other sponsors. The Press Release speaks for itself. It is nice to see that some good things are being accomplished by CCS Students.

Also note that there were 51,840 meals packaged for those in need in Cleveland County. Since Cleveland County has a population of just over 100,000 this seems to indicate that over half of Cleveland County citizens are in need of food. Or the meals were provided in multiple amounts for people in need to have multiple meals over time. Either way that is a lot of people in need of nutrition in Cleveland County.

The Press Release has contact information. If there are questions or you want to also participate or help in some way with this project, please give the Crest High School FFA folks a call. And be sure to thank them for the good things that they do.
