CC Commissioners RESOLVE to put CC CITIZENS LAST!!!   ALL COMMISSIOONERS sign this Official Resolution!!!   Call it HIGH QUALITY GOVERNANCE!!!   Report and obvious conclusions by Robert A  

Folks, most of us that have watched government operate. County, State and Federal-all of them. In one way or another most of us would say that, in fact, governmental officials don’t give a “whit” for us citizens and taxpayers. But, never in this whole wide world would Robert A  ever even imagine that the Cleveland County Government, as bad as they are, be stupid enough to ever pass a Resolution that actually put down on a piece of paper, and all of them sign it, that the Cleveland County Commissioners put Citizens LAST on their list of priorities. But that is exactly what the Commissioners did at the January 17, 2023 Commissioners Meeting. No questions, no comments, and apparently no commons sense aforethought. Folks, the name of the official document is: CLEVELAND COUNTY BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OPERATING GUIDELINES FOR HIGH QUALITY GOVERNANCE.

This document contains 10 items. NONE of which has anything to do with what Robert A would say had anything to do with Good Governance. But for brevity, Robert A will provide item number I and item number 10. Word for word and without any edit or comment. YOU folks can decide for your selves. (Items 2 through 9 may be discussed on other articles. (But Number 1 and number 10 says it all.)

• The County’s strategic priorities will guide the work of the Board and staff and will be supported by a thoughtful priority-setting process and cycle.

10 We are responsible for the entirety of citizens of the County; therefore, we should give our best efforts to work for the benefit of all.

• The document has 10 items. Number 1 is First and No 10 is LAST.
• Item 1 says the County’s Strategic Priorities will be worked by the Board and Staff in order of
• Item 10 is the last item on the list. Therefore, the work of the commissioners regarding citizens is Last on their list of Priorities.

Robert A says: ‘nuff said in explanation. Robert A would add. That if he runs for Commissioner in 2024. He would but the best interest of the CITIZENS of Cleveland County as the Number ONE Priority. AND, Robert A would NEVER, ever vote for or sign such a Resolution or any other document or contract such as this. And ALL those that did, should be run off in the 2024 elections, if not sooner.
