It is so sad that this is going on in our schools. It is sad that our school board, superintendent and local law enforcement-along with our County Commissioner sit back and do nothing.
I realize that this in going on in every school around the country, but our local officials should only be concerned with Cleveland County, we need answers we need people that will stop sweeping things under the rug. All we can do is Pray for our children and school staff because the people in charge don’t care.
Thank you for keeping parents informed about the things going on in Cleveland County. You are a good man to care for other people’s children.

You are 100% correct except in one phrase-“All we can do is Pray for our children…” Of course, we can and must Pray for our children as well as Pray that OUR DEMANDS that Public Schools do what they are supposed to do is carried out and done by our county leadership. However, WE the People have the authority and the power to REPLACE those sorry Superintendents, School Board Members, etc. who refuse to do their jobs; with those that CAN and WILL get the job done. There are those in Cleveland County that have the skills and talents necessary to get this job done. What WE the People have to do is get the low information folks, informed and motivated.
Informed of the problems and motivated to throw the bums out and bring in the “first String.”
Let us ALL start right now. Get ourselves and others informed and motivated to run for office on the REFORM ticket. 2024 is a key election year and turnout will be high. There are three Commissioners and five School Board Members up for reelection in 2024. That is a majority on both boards. Three NEW Commissioners and five NEW School Board members, all like minded and determined can completely clean house after winning election in the 2024 Elections. Let us start recruiting OUR team right now and be prepared to WIN in 2024. Out with the old and in with the new. Robert A has already started researching the laws, policies and best practices to turn Cleveland County and CCS around on a dime if he should run and win election as a County Commissioner. The County Commissioners are the only taxing authority in Cleveland County. The ones who raise the money and divvies it out. With control of the county’s cash flow, the Commissioners can and should hold EVERYBODY in government positions accountable to the people that pay those taxes. Us Citizens, Taxpayers. AND Voters can and MUST make ourselves heard. That is what we must Pray for. For the Good Lord to guide our brooms as we sweep Cleveland County clean. And KEEP it swept clean!!!
