Editor’s Note: Chicago Mobster Al Capone would have been proud of the Cleveland County School Board for their brazen theft of valuable taxpayer property. Stolen by an 8-1 vote that to a “layman” might have appeared legal. Only Dr. Danny Blanton voted NO to this salacious scheme. And was seriously attacked in the process by other School Board Members and Superintendent for simply doing what was right. Thou Shalt Not Steal!!!
The October 10, 2022 School Board Meeting included just about every brand of unethical and criminal acts that Robert A has seen in his 10 years of attending CCS School Board Meetings. All kinds of dirty tricks and dirty schemes were lurking just under the surface. Some Dirty Tricks and out ant out criminal acts stood as high as Mounty Everest. CCS School Board Chairman Robert “Luke” Queen was the unethical Criminal Orchestra Leader and Superintendent Stephen Fisher was the lying expert witness. Matched only in deceit by County Commissioner Chairman Kevin “Mad Dog” Gordon and his tax and spend Commissioners.
First, let’s describe some terms. So, we all understand what this message is describing.
Black Market: A Black Market is an underground economy, or shadow economy is a clandestine market or series of transactions that has some aspect of illegality or is characterized by non-compliance with an instutionalized set of rules. In this particular situation at hand, both of these aspects of a Black Market are combined.
The item stolen is the taxpayer owned VALUE of an item that is lost to the taxpayer in those black-market transactions. When that property is illegally transferred to others in a black-market scheme to purchase at auction intentionally devalued property that is worth much more than described and then resold to others at much higher prices (or value).
In this case, the property being approved for sell on the GovDeals Auction platform is Lunchroom/Cafeteria items stripped out of the old Marion and Graham Schools that the School Board closed down. Supposedly to enhance the utilization of existing school facilities in the Shelby Attendance Zone. Note that this equipment was fully functional and being used to feed hundreds of children when these school’s students were transferred to other schools at the beginning of this School Year, simply to better utilize school facilities and NOT because of any health concerns.
Therefore, the items on this particular Auction list are only surplus property with the useful value still intact. NOT obsolete, non-compliant with Health Department standards and or broken beyond repair as stated on the Auction list that the School Board Passed with an 8-1 margin this past Monday evening. Only Dr. Danny Blanton saw through this scam and had the courage to vote NO! Amid the abuse and ridicule heaped upon him by the other school Board Members and the lies told by Superintendent Stephen Fisher when Chairman Luke called upon him cover up the scam.
But don’t believe this cover-up scenario. Go to the CCS School board Meeting Video and see for yourself. Watch Superintendent Fisher tell this tall tale that the expensive ($25,000 new) mixer had become dangerous to the health of students due to wear and use. When the equipment was of robust construction of Food Grade Materials and general cleanliness was all that was required for a lifetime of safe usage. Watch Fisher grasp at straws of stupidity to tell the lies that he told. Any old lies, no matter how unbelievable and stupid, were good enough for the School board that included three incumbents running for reelection, Phillip Glover, Coleman Hunt and Dena Green. All Democrats. And even RINO Republican Greg Taylor transformed himself into a Rogue Republican to go after Dr. Blanton. Even though Dr. Blanton was 100% provably correct in everything he said.
But folks, this should be the end of this article, yet it is the start of something much more sinister. Something that is also illegal and something that is a threat to democracy at its core. Stay tuned for that in another article.
For your convenience, the list of items for the black-market auction is included below.
Also, Robert A’s request in writing to inspect this equipment that so far has been ignored. Some have advised Robert A NOT to go to inspect this equipment. That there very well could be personal danger involved. Or a setup of some sort. Robert A is very seriously considering those warnings.

PS: If non-compliance with Health Department Standards truly apply, it appears that every cafeteria/lunchroom in CCS is also a threat to the health and safety of students and teachers.
