Robert A’s Note: Any part of this article that resembles the truth is by accident.

When Robert A learned that Commissioner Chairman Kevin “Mad Dog” Gordon, using his position, as also being on the Cleveland County Fair Board, had renegotiated the lease of County taxpayer owned property to the “Fair Board” for ONE DOLLAR per year to a new deal. Robert A thought Mad Dog Gordon was crazy. Then Robert A learns that Mad Dog’s new deal with the Fair Board, in exchange for that ONE DOLLAR per year from the Fair, the County would GIVE the Fair $167,500 in taxpayer dollars–EVERY year. Robert A thought that was even crazier.

But Robert A was wrong! Robert A didn’t have the whole story. The Fair Board, as a “bribe” on top of that ONE DOLLAR, would also set aside a couple dozen “PRIME” parking spots at the Fair for Mad Dog, Mad Dog’s family and his inner circle of County Officials for that $167,500 in taxpayer’s hard-earned tax dollars.

“Ohhh!!” Says Robert A when he learned about Commissioner Chairman Kevin “Mad Dog” Gordon’s shrewd negotiations with the Fair Board for such a “bribe.” Throwing in that $167,000 of County Taxpayer’s tax dollars for those few prime parking spots at the Fair was a stroke of genius not seen since the days of Eddie Holbrook, David Dear and the ALWS. With County Commissioners like Kevin “Mad Dog” Gordon, Cleveland County Voters should go to the Number One Position of the Most Stupid Counties in North Carolina. Maybe the USA! That just has to be something all of Cleveland County will be proud about!!! For eternity!! Or, at lest until the 2024 Elections.
