Some call it “Pass the Trash.” Others crudely call it “Shit-Shifting.” It all means the same. A School District wants to get rid of a “problem” teacher so they force the teacher to resign quietly. The School District then takes no action to notify the North Carolina State Board of Education of the misdeeds and the “bad apple” keeps his Teaching Certificate or License intact. And soon finds a teaching job in another School District.
Who knows but what the teacher in question, the Burns Middle School Teacher who told a female student that he “wanted to slap her butt and twist her titties”, hadn’t already done bad things in another school district before coming to Burns Middle School? Maybe even misbehaved in two or three previous school districts. Who knows about such things and CCS certainly won’t tell us. But I have learned from reliable sources that this particular Burns Middle School teacher previously mentioned has immediately went to work in the Lincoln County School District!!! Probably with a good recommendation from CCS.
Hey, I know of another case where a female teacher at Crest High School misbehaved with the boys, took lewd pictures of herself in the Classroom and the bathroom, got found out, resigned and moved to a school across the State Line into South Carolina, got found out in South Carolina too. Resigned and came back to teach in Gastonia North Carolina. For who knows how long and how much more misbehavior. The good Lord may know how many times this has happened, but I surely don’t. Though the extent of “Shit-Shifting,” ”Pass the Trash” stuff appears to be ingrained in school systems everywhere and we may never know how large this practice is. It is still a shame that School Boards continue to allow it to happen. Especially the Cleveland County School Board who WE have entrusted with OUR children.
All I can really say now is that I know it has happened at least twice here in Cleveland County in a relatively short period of time. And the School Board knows it because I have told them so. And THEY are still Passing the Trash!!! And just as likely, THEY are hiring somebody else’s trash too!!! To fill the vacancy of the trash that just left CCS. Around and around we seem to go. And where we stop, nobody knows.
Remember folks, there is an election coming up soon and four school board seats are open. This time we need to re-elect Danny Blanton and elect three more candidates that will also support Danny Blanton. Not a bunch of “shit for brains” liars that will tell us they want transparency so we will vote for them and then as soon as they get elected, lie through their teeth like that 2020 election crowd did.
We also need to tell our state representatives to find a way for us to remove Robert “Luke” Queen, Rodney “Barney” Fitch, Ron Humphries, Joel Shores and Greg Taylor from the CCS School Board. Immediately, if not sooner!!!
