A trusted source reported that Kings Mountain High School Assistant Principal Dustin Morehead, in the process of breaking up a ”cat-fight” between two small-framed female KMHS students, used an illegal “chokehold” on one of the female students. This happened this very morning, March 1, 2022. I am also told that there are entries on Facebook regarding this very matter.
So far, I have received NO reports regarding:
Whether or not the School Resource Officer was involved
Whether or not CCS School Board policies were violated
Whether or not any disciplinary actions have been taken against the KM Assistant Principal, Mr. Morehead, or the two girls that were fighting.
Whether or not any criminal arrest warrants or civil complaints have been taken against anybody

Note that a previous “skirmish” between an autistic Kings Mountain female high school student and a KM Policeman Resource Officer resulted in a lawsuit against CCS that caused Cleveland County Schools to have to “settle” with the girl’s family for well into six figures$. That may be an article for another day.
