Folks, Public business is supposed to be conducted in PUBLIC. In meetings with plenty of advance notice and the PUBLIC is invited with NO questions about why the public is in attendance. That is the law!!!
And I love to catch elected officials doing unlawful (illegal) stuff. Like holding secret meetings. I tell on them every chance that I get.
So, this is what I have been told:
The Cleveland County Commissioners, The City of Kings Mountain and the Town of Grover are holding a “Secret” meeting on Tuesday, February 8th, 2022 at 6:00 PM at the Patrick Center in Kings Mountain to discuss building a sewerage treatment plant somewhere on Dixon School Road.
That is all I know. I have no information on whether the Casino, Eddie Holbrook’s or Wallace Cheves property, Betsy Wells’ property or anything or anybody else is involved here.
But I smell a rat!!! And, when I smell a rat, I usually check it out. As I plan to do this time too. So, see all y’all interested people at this NOT SO SECRET ANYMORE meeting this coming Tuesday evening.
