Editor’s Note: As usual I call reports from reliable sources “Gossip Reports” to hide the sources identity and shield the source from the retaliation that would surely follow if that person’s identity became known. However, this source has been so critically accurate in the past that I truly believe this report is true.
My source reports that Rodney Fitch has resigned from the Cleveland County School’s Board of Education-The School Board. Before the first hour was out, another source calls asking “which School Board member just resigned??” So, the fact is clear, the word is out that a School Board member has resigned and it appears very likely (99.99% accurate I would estimate) that the School Board Member that resigned is Rodney Fitch.
However, I would say that School Board Chairman Robert “Luke” Queen, Ron Humphries, Joel Shores, Supt. Fisher and the Rogue Republicans are putting maximum pressure on Rodney Fitch to talk him out of resigning so they can say all this is a false rumor. A Fairy Tale maybe.
But all the signs are there to indicate a School Board member has resigned and it is Rodney Fitch.
I have attended all the School Board meetings since Rodney Fitch and the others were elected and sworn in. I always sit up front at school board meetings so I can see and hear better what is going on. Although I recommended voters to elect Robert “Luke” Queen, Ron Humphries, Joel Shores, AND Rodney Fitch, I have been sorely disappointed in all of them. Especially Luke Queen for his active, oppressive, illegal, phony, and likely corrupt and paid off change in his dictatorial style of leadership.
Sometimes it appears that Rodney Fitch is visibly torn and in severe internal turmoil with having to go along with Luke’s tyrannical and misled shenanigans that require a board vote to pass. Much more torn than the other “new” Republican members. So, word that Rodney Fitch has resigned would tend to indicate that he is fed up with Luke Queen’s illegal “mess” (perhaps Bull-Shit-would be a better description) and has decided to get out while the getting is good. If that is the case, Rodney Fitch is a coward who is taking the easy way out. Fitch is a full-fledged school board member and had promised to be transparent and do what is in the best interest of the children’s education. All he has to do is vote NO when things are going the wrong way. And advise others to do the same. As well as speaking out on the reasons he is so torn and in turmoil.
But Fitch has chosen NOT to do the right things, so a resignation would be the right thing for him to do at this point. For that matter, it would also be the right thing for Luke Queen, Ron Humphries, Joel Shores, and Greg Taylor to resign; as they have also failed to deliver on their promises to the citizens of Cleveland County and betrayed our children’s best chance for a good education. And are wasting $Million$ in the process.
Like I said folks, the gossip is that Rodney Fitch has resigned from the School Board. Best Wishes to Rodney Fitch. But, don’t be surprised, since resigning would be the coward’s way out, that Luke Queen, Dennis Bailey, Kevin Whisnant, David Allen, Wes Westmoreland, and other Rogue Republicans, now that the cat is out of the bag, to pressure Fitch to withdraw his resignation and declare this was all just a lie.
Next week should tell the tale on this prime example of planned schemes, deceptions, and scams perpetrated by Luke Queen and his School Board majority. And the Rogue Republicans who have eagerly worked to sow havoc and hate wherever they go.
Stay tuned folks. The she*t is about to hit the fan. Along with some lawsuits against Cleveland County Schools that have been percolating along for some time now. With the pieces of the puzzle seeming to be coming together as we speak.
