Folks, I wish that I could say to you that things have gotten better in Cleveland County regarding our elected and appointed political leadership. That all the many governmental lawsuits were settled and those at fault were removed from office. Or, at least they had learned their lessons and changed their ways.
But a year-end tally of the $Million$ of taxpayer dollars sloshing around; and who is getting what? And who is NOT getting their fair share indicates that our leadership’s priorities are mostly wrong, if not completely backwards.
So, folks, since the Holidays are upon us, the 2022 signups for elected offices and the Primary Elections have been delayed, government offices will be mostly closed and the new COVID scare is upon us just like clockwork, we are making our list of articles to write. But will most likely NOT publish them until after the first of the new year. Unless there is something SUPER DUPER to report in the meantime. But, don’t be thinking that our work in reforming our government here in Cleveland County is done. Or even close to done. For it is just getting started good.
