Folks, please scan closely through this official listing of the CCC BoTs. There are several glaring errors in this official document. Including one MAJOR error of extreme importance. At the end of this list, I will inform you of what I found. Perhaps you will find other mistakes as well.

The small errors and mistakes that I so easily found is the changes made by the NC General Assembly regarding the appointing authorities has not been updated. The following are things that the legislature has changed:
The two (2) appointments by the Governor have been eliminated by law. When those two former “Governor Appointment” terms expire, those two appointments will be taken over by the NC General Assembly. The General Assembly now will appoint four (4) members to the CCC BoTs. Up from the previous two (2).
The three (3) appointments made by the Cleveland County School Board have been eliminated by law because of excessive cronyism by previous school boards. Those three (3) additional appointments have been given by law to the Cleveland County Board of Commissioners.
The Cleveland County Board of Commissioners NOW have the obligation to appoint eight (8) members to the twelve (12) member Cleveland Community College Board of Trustees.
All CCC BoT member terms are for four (4) year terms beginning July 1 of the year they are appointed in and ending exactly four (4) years later on June 30th.
The BIG error, perhaps intentional, is the YEAR of the appointments. If you noticed, the years shown on this list of appointments are 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2024.
WHERE ARE THE APPOINTMENTS THAT EXPIRE IN 2023???
Perhaps there are logical explanation for this obvious discrepancy. However, in my experience with Cleveland County governmental agencies such obvious discrepancies are almost 100% logical and always 100% crooked and to the benefit of the “in-crowd!!!”
Commissioners, you are dealing here with renegades such as Trump-Haters Wes “Taliban Dan” Westmoreland, Dennis “Beetle” Bailey, Robert “Luke” Queen, David “Gomer” Allen and others of their ilk. You have to believe that something self-serving, petty, unethical (if not illegal) and always “smelly” is going on. My recommendation in this situation is two-fold. First, double-check the appointment dates for all the CCC BoTs. Perhaps others are ready to face the music. Second, make plans to eventually get rid of all the renegades on the CCC Board of Trustees over time. As well as all BoTs who have served with Westmoreland, Bailey, Littlejohn and Queen. They are all “tainted” too, by association, and taxpayers and citizens need to see that the Thornburg, Kennedy, Holbrook regime is finally over and done with!!!
By the way, Commissioners. Rumor and gossip have it that the renegades (maybe including Ted Alexander) are already planning and scheming to get all Y’all beat at YOUR next election date. Starting with Commissioners Doug Bridges and Deb Hardin.
As for me, I have been offered the use of a bullet-proof vest.
