There have been numerous instances of vandals stealing campaign signs in Cleveland County. The most public examples have been the campaign yard signs of School Board Candidate Samantha Davis and President Donald J. Trump. Both of these candidates are very conservative and crucial to the future of our children’s education as well as our economy.
Today, a local businessman in Fallston reported to me that his Trump sign was stolen from in front of his business on Highway 18 in Fallston. I was able to provide him with a replacement Trump for President sign in short order.
However, political sign stealing is rare in Fallston. And Highway 18 is a well-travelled road. If anybody happened to witness a recent act of stealing political signs in or around Fallston, please report such a theft to the Cleveland County Sheriff’s Department. In fact, Call 911. Thievery and any other such crimes in and around Fallston needs to be nipped in the bud. And the perpetrators caught and severely punished.
From my own personal experience-a thief, high on drugs- came into my back yard and stole miscellaneous items. The thief was caught, prosecuted and eventually convicted. I had to make six trips to the courthouse in that case and the perp was ordered to pay restitution. I have yet to collect one red cent from that court-imposed restitution. People in Fallston and in Upper Cleveland County are fed up with criminal being protected by the Courts and a do-nothing legal system. We want and demand good schools and law and order. We also want and demand that Samantha Davis and President Trump sigh stealers be caught and prostituted sufficient to teach them the lesson that crime does not pay.
