It has come to my attention that some of the workers/volunteers from the Cleveland County NC Democratic Party are at the polls telling people not to vote for me that I’m a republican. I don’t follow their Ideals. People are calling me asking why such hateful things are being said about me by my own party. (Democrats) Well let me explain to you why they don’t support me. Let me give it to you from the source, “Me”. There are a total of 5 Democrats running. Three who have been on the school board for many, many years. I refuse to support them. I have been advocating for victims of bullying, minorities and special needs children for well over 8 years. Those 3 school board members have done absolutely nothing for any of the children I mentioned. I know from experience as a parent of biracial children and a special needs child, as the founder of Parents Against Bullying NC, and as an advocate for every child, that they only act concerned during election time. I am an independent thinker! I don’t go along to get along and I could never support members of the good ole boys here in Cleveland County. I cannot and will not support people who have for many, many years stood by and done nothing about the discrimination against our poor children, our minority children, teachers and our female athletes. My name is Samantha Davis and I am and have always been about the children. I do not care what party a person is affiliated with when it comes to every child in this county. I refuse to fail our children for any one particular party! It’s not going to happen here.

I watched yesterday. I WILL be voting for Samantha Davis for CCS school board because she CARES, wants to advocate and protect our children, and has taken more bullying and corruption than any candidate should face because she is STANDING UP for what is right! I don’t vote “party” I vote for the person and I will be voting for both democratic and republican candidates because I truly study their platforms. Yesterday at the LeGrand Center in Shelby, a member of the Democratic Party of Cleveland County (grant you Samantha is a registered Democrat) was MARKING OUT Samantha’s name with a pen!!!!! Tampering with sample ballots and providing assistance to voters isn’t this a FELONY and an arrestable offense punishable by statutory law?!!!!!
