CCS Early College Teacher Daniel Joseph Dyer, 27 white/male, a Kings Mountain Baptist Church member, according to the Cleveland County Jail Log was arrested this yesterday by the Sheriff’s Department and charged with sex offences. Dyer’s bond was set at $25,000 and his grandparents bailed him out. According to reports, CCS Superintendent Stephen Fisher and Assistant Superintendent over HR, Jennifer Wampner, allowed Dyer to resign from CCS just prior to his arrest. Fisher, Wampner, School Board Chairman Shearra Miller and Maintenance Director Steve Boheler are all reported to be members of Kings Mountain Baptist Church. Wampner is the Preacher’s daughter.
