Editor’s Note: I noted this article contains “gossip” in order to protect my sources. I believe every word in this article as provided by a trusted source is true and factual. Call Your School Board and demand an investigation, a full explanation and a public report be made and published regarding this matter. After the phony and frivolous CCS Lawsuit against the Sheriff of Cleveland County, such as this has to be stopped and stopped NOW!!

Sources report that at a recent Kings Mountain High School Basketball game some KMHS students were blatantly disrespectful of the American Flag during the ceremonial playing of the traditional pregame National Anthem. So much so that School Board member Danny Blanton, who was in attendance at the game, immediately complained to the KMHS administration about the incident that was perpetrated by KMHS students.

As a response to the complaint, sources report that the CCS administration banned the playing of the National Anthem at future KMHS Basketball Games. And perhaps have banned the playing of the National Anthem at all CCS high school sporting events.

Folks, I do not know about you, but after the stupid act of CCS filing a frivolous lawsuit for $3 million against the Sheriff of Cleveland County and other such acts of super-bad judgement; I say it is time to replace anybody and everybody at CCS, and the School Board too, who were involved with such a foolish responses to a valid citizen’s complaint. How about YOU???

Call every School Board member and demand action. NOW!!! Bring back the playing of the National Anthem at CCS sporting events and at every other opportunity. CCS students, staff, administrator and school board member should show respect for our Country and every act of disrespect must result in immediate disciplinary action. Same with Superintendent Dr. Stephen Fisher who enables such foolishness and who, himself, stated, under oath that the frivolous lawsuit against the Sheriff was justified. Just as he might say that banning the playing of the National Anthem at basketball games is justified. As he has already done by allowing the banning of the National Anthem in the first place.
