There are two things obvious about the Monday, December 16, 2019 School Board Meeting.
1. The meeting starts one hour earlier than most other school board meetings. So, they can go party, as I have been told.
2. The Personnel Report noted in the Meeting Agenda for approval of the November 25, 2019 School Board Meeting Minutes has been dummied up to show that a female Turning Point Academy Teacher, accused and charged with multiple sex crimes was quickly transferred to Jefferson Elementary Schools, where she was allowed to resign before she was charged. Obviously to let CCS off the hook and to allow CCS plausible denial of the crimes.
I plan to sign up for “Public Participation” and explain to the School Board that their cover-up for the sex crimes has been discovered. Among other things that I can fit in the three minutes that I am allowed to speak. Making the School Board aware that I am on to their tricks is my figurative way to “Moon” the School Board without actually showing them a butt naked. It’s kinda like the School Board “moons” me and every other citizen by sitting there doing unethical and unlawful things on the School Board while letting people’s complaints go in one ear and out the other. And doing nothing about it.
Perhaps other members of the public should also speak up about how us citizens, voters and taxpayers do not just “expect” the Cleveland County Board of Education to abide by the law, we demand it. We demand that CCS educates our children too. Don’t forget that. Especially since that is CCS’s reason for being in the first place.
