Editor’s Note: This National Boycott of the 2020 American Legion World Series to be held in Shelby, North Carolina in 2020 was announced to Concerned Parents, the Shelby Star, myself, Shelby Mayor Stan Anthony and others by the Southern Coalition of Equal Protection Under The Law (SCEPUL), a movement for the advancement of justice everywhere by the political “outing” of injustices where and when they are discovered. The recent and very egregious injustice done to a black Shelby businessman, Mr. Willie Green, under the “Color of Law” by the City of Shelby City Council at their November 18, 2019 meeting served as the catalyst for this national boycott. Not to mention the Millions of Tax Dollars secretly provided under the table to the wasteful ALWS Baseball, Inc. (Run Bu Former Commissioner Eddie “Massa Eddie” Holbrook) for many years by the Cleveland County Commissioners.

Please accept this forwarded email as an official notice. The Southern Coalition for Equal Protections Under the Law is a movement that seeks to balance the powers between the government and the people.

This is notice to you that the Southern Coalition for Equal Protections Under the Law hereby launches a National Boycott of the ALWS 2020 to be held in the City of Shelby, North Carolina during the month of August.
The Southern Coalition for Equal Protections Under the Law seeks to balance the powers between the government and the people. We believe that a continuation of adverse actions towards minorities and women in the City of Shelby warrant national attention. Specific to you are continuous efforts by city officials to block your access to free enterprise.
We believe our only recourse is to bring national attention to a local problem that is prevalent around the nation.
Thank you for your endurance in this matter.

I expect this National Boycott will also include boycotts of ALWS Sponsors, Donors, etc. as well as Protests and Demonstrations as a finale in Shelby during the ALWS games which will perhaps bring counter protests and demonstrations and National News coverages.
