Editor’s Note: The Shelby Police Department leadership has proven itself in recent times to be ineffective and ungrounded. Kind of blowing with the wind in case after case. Big cases and small. The recent botched Capital Murder Trial in the cop killing of SPD Officer Tim Brackeen is a prime example in a story that is still unfolding. (Stay tuned for that.) Many cases of mistreatment of autistic children that have been covered up by CCS and SPD. Covered-up sex crimes between teachers and students, etc. NOW, THERE IS PRROF POSITIVE of SPD Cover-up. You can’t tell from what SPD has done, but from what SPD has NOT done. Read on!!!
The Shelby Star printed an article titled Teacher charged with indecent liberties with a student just a few days ago Nov 20, 2019 regarding a female Special Education teacher at Turning Point Academy being arrested on three counts of sex crimes with a male student. The teacher’s name is not important in this article so we will leave her name out. If you want to know who the teacher is, the Star’s article tells you. What we do in this article is put on our Sherlock Holmes hat and point out some important facts obvious from deductive reasoning that tells much more about the cover-up by CCS and SPD.
Also, we will report to you at this time that sources had advised us of criminal acts being committed at CCS that were discovered and a cover-up was likely. So, we waited for this story to finally break before we told the “rest of the story.”
Now, for some deductive reasoning regarding the Star article and our reports.
CCS’s Turning Point Academy is located in Shelby at 400 W. Marion Street. That is the same address as the CCS Central Offices where all the big shots work. Superintendent Stephen Fisher and such. Which makes our first deduction as being, all this sex crime stuff was going on right under the big shot’s noses. And a second deduction as being the Shelby Police Depart would be investigating this incident.
Now, remember that the Shelby Star article that reported the arrest did not mention the SPD. It was the Sheriff’s Department who made the sex charge arrests.
So, where the Shelby Police Department and CCS Superintendent. Didn’t Superintendent Stephen Fisher make the report to the SPD and SPD investigate? Sources report that CCS first made the attempt to cover all this up before anyone found out. The Teacher was moved to Jefferson Elementary as a Plan A deception. That failing, CCS or somebody called in SPD as a Plan B cover-up. And SPD Chief Jeff Ledford obliged by covering up the incident. Note that NONE of this was reported by the Shelby Star.
At this point, somebody called in the Sheriff’s Department. It could have been ME or it could have been somebody else, I will not say. But somebody called the Sheriff’s Department and the Sheriff, to Sheriff Alan Norman’s credit amongst all the Detention Center controversy, took positive action to investigate and charge an alleged criminal sex offender. Perhaps now Sheriff Alan Norman will invite me to tour the Detention Center facilities to see for myself that the jail issues are being resolved and personnel issues are in the process of being worked on.
In the meantime, stay tuned for any new reports about this incident and the subsequent prosecution of the perpetrator.
Also, remember that School Board members Shearra Miller, Richard Hooker, Roger Harris, Jo Boggs and Jeff Jones were all missing n action in this episode. These know-nothing, do-nothing school board members are up for election next year and candidate filing begins December 2, 2019. Good school board candidates are requested to sign up and run for the school board. All the rest of us are urged to vote for those good candidates. new the people can put a stop to all this mess by simply doing our duty.
