It’s the same old story in Cleveland County Politics. Remove the evidence that a crime or unethical act has been committed, and then there was no crime. Just a few examples:
• Eddie Holbrook not properly reporting his use of campaign sign “frames.” I called the Board of Elections and Holbrook immediately amended his campaign reports.
• Sheriff Alan Norman not putting the “Paid for by—” on several of his billboards. I called the Board of Elections and Sheriff Norman immediately “fixed” his billboards.
• Eddie Holbrook using school property to assemble his campaign signs. I sent pictures to the Board of Elections and to the world and Holbrook had his signs gone the next morning.
Now, since I received the trove of information that clearly shows the Cleveland County American League World Series headquarters at 117 A West Warren St, Shelby, a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, barred by federal law from political activity, has in fact been used by the Eddie Holbrook re-election campaign as well as elements of the Danny Blanton political campaign too. As well as using ALWS paid employee time too for political and personal work.
My last article included attachments that proved that fact as well as others, Like the ALWS directly receiving Cleveland County taxpayer money payments that don’t appear to be properly allocated. (And the County has not provided any response to my Public Records Request for the Commissioner’s documentation required to make such an allocation of county money (our taxmoney).to the ALWS.
Anyhow, my article has been published and has been sent around the world. And to the American League National Commander in Indianapolis, Indiana. Sources report that Eddie Holbrook has immediately ordered the CC ALWS headquarters cleaned up to remove all evidence of improper use.
For a man like Eddie Holbrook; who, by his frequent and flagrant violations, believed himself above the law, to suddenly find out that he is NOT above the law-it must have been a big hit to his Napoleon size ego. Which is a shame. But, just like Napoleon, Massa Eddie might just be facing his Waterloo. Despite all the back door threats against me. You see, I have just started releasing information from the trove of documents that came out of the ALWS headquarters, through a number of hands and finally into my possession. Sorry Eddie, You ain’t seen nothing yet. Mend your ways if you still can.
