Shelby — Mr. Willie A. Green has properly and legally filed for a Four Year Term as a Cleveland County Commissioner as a “write-in” Candidate. Mr. Green’s name or any political party will NOT appear on the November Ballot, but a space for his name to be written in will be there and any votes for Mr. Green will be fairly counted. Good Luck to Mr. Green. It is not presently known whether or not others will also file for any office as a write-in candidate. But, Expectations are HIGH.
Elections in Cleveland County have just been energized by a bolt of lightning. Much larger than normal voter turnout is expected.
