The June 11, 2018 School Board meeting started off like all the rest for a very long time. A Call to Order, A Pledge of Allegiance and a Moment of Silence. No Prayer even though the Right to Pray was officially granted by School Board Policy several years ago. Granted because hundreds of citizens showed up for school board meetings right before the 2015 School Board Elections and demanded Prayer be re-introduced in Cleveland County Schools. The School Board quickly approved a new policy allowing 90 second Christian Prayer along with Muslim Prayer as well as prayer from self proclaimed Witches, Warlocks and Pagans. All of the above Prayed at School Board meetings for a while. Now, Nobody comes out to Pray at School Board meetings. It is like God is dead at CCS. Not only the Preachers of the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost have boycotted CCS, but the followers of Mohammed, Buddha, Isis, Beelzebub, Satan, and such other so called gods have stayed away from CCS. Maybe because they have already won the Battle for lost Souls and don’t need to show up anymore.
Also, the School Board, at this June 11, 2018 meeting, have rolled out their proposed “Religion In the Schools” Policy. It is attached for your convenience.
According to the Policy, which CCS says is based on the US and NC Constitutions and various Judicial Decisions, the Principal, the Superintendent and the School Board lawyers will decide what part of Religion (if all or any) will be allowed in at CCS.
Read it for yourself and form your own opinion. My opinion is God is Dead at CCS.
