Just when you thought you had heard it all in regard to the stupidity at Cleveland County Schools, the telephone rings and you get a report that Burns High School has banned the American Flag on Student’s cars and trucks and has suspended those students who refused to take them off. The American Flag is “RACIST” says Burns High School. The report stated Facebook is lighting up with the reports. I checked and Facebook is lighting up with those reports.
Now, it is almost 8 PM and CCS is closed for comment.
Folks, I say put the cotton picking denigrating morons at Burns High School and CCS somewhere else besides demanding that our children abide by such disregard for America. This is just as bad as CCS requiring the Burns High School FFA to remove their “Cotton” booth from the Cleveland County Fair. I am offended by all of this nonsense by CCS and blame the County Commissioners, headed up by Eddie Holbrook, for allowing such as this to happen.
Of course you have to consider that this is all a rumor started with the intent to turn out the White Democrats to single shot vote FOR Eddie Holbrook as the black community will get blamed for starting this all up by claiming the American Flag is a racist symbol. It is Election time and voting is going on right now.
It is a shame that such thoughts crossed my mind. But they did and with just cause.
We should all demand that CCS give us a report immediately. And if it is true all CCS Board Members and Commissioners should resign immediately too.
