Folks, Robert A’s statements of facts regarding recent aspects of the totally UNNECESSARY New Justice Center has apparently PO’d Kevin Gordon and his minions (Johnny Hutchins, Ronnie Whetstine, Deb Hardin and Doug Bridges) as well as their various sycophants, flatterers and suck-ups. When questioned, all they ever say is “Robert A tells noting but lies” and then refuse to explain just what was NOT correct. And not one single person has ever collected the $100 reward that Robert A has often offered to the first person who can show that Robert A was wrong. Robert A usually pays no attention to this kind of old timey Cleveland County style self-inflicted ignorance and doesn’t waste his time with a reply. Right NOW is NOT one of those occasions…
Robert A, while digging more into the Sheriff’s Department Jail Inmate listings, saw a “Heading” for MOST WANTED on the CCSD website. Of course, Robert A had to click on that subject of high public interest. As of September 5, 2024, there was only one person listed on this MOST WANTED LIST-Gerald Murray.
Mr. Murray was WANTED for:
Felony Larceny;
Felony Possession of Stolen Goods;
Resisting a Public Officer; and
Felony Probation Violation (3 Counts)
Note that one of Robert A’s most recent articles regarding problems and issues at the Courthouse described how the CC District Attorney’s Office would often leave people arrested, who couldn’t post bail were often left in jail for extended periods of time, to “force” them to take a plea-bargain instead of go for a speedy trial. Plead guilty to a lesser crime in exchange for getting probation and released from jail for time already served. And how there were presently 309 inmates in the Cleveland County Jail. Many, maybe most, for extended periods of time. Thus, keeping the CC jail overly full, instead of the District Attorney trying cases, getting convictions and sending real criminals like Gerald Murry off to State Prison. Instead of overcrowding the CC Jail!!! And, as many as 80% of the present inmates in the CC Jail are likely to be repeat offenders while on PROBATION!
From the list of charges against Gerald Murray as noted above, the most wanted person in Cleveland County as of September 5, 2024, Gerald Murray, certainly appears to be a perfect example of the situation previously noted above. A total disregard by the Judges and District Attorney of the victims of all these repeat offenders. Also, an unnecessary (and dangerous) burden on Law Enforcement from having to continuously arrest and re-arrest dangerous criminals. And, a burden to Cleveland County Taxpayers for having to soon shell out $400 Million$ (or MORE) for the unnecessary NEW Justice Center.
Folks, This is not the end of this particular Gerald Murray FUBAR down at the CC Courthouse.
Additional research by Robert A into the MOST WANTED man in Cleveland County, Gerald Wade Murry, shows that all this previous criminal activity by Murry included a “Booking” of Gerald Wade Murry by the Cleveland County Sheriff’s Office on July 22, 2024 at 9:55 AM for the following charges:
Flee/Elude Arrest w/Motor Vehicle
Resisting Public Officer
DWLR Not Impaired Rev
Speeding
Reckless Driving to endanger
Possess Drug Paraphernalia
Drive/Allow Reg Plate not display
Drive Left of Center
Fail Stop Sign/Flash Red Light
It is obvious here that Gerald Wade Murray, being charged with all these additional crimes in a failed attempt to get away from/Allude Arrest and resist an officer, would have been carried down to the CC Jail and Courthouse on July 22, 2024. A Monday Morning (9:55AM)). And been arrested and =jailed. All these charges would have also been considered more Probation Violations.
So, HOW DID GERALD WADE MURRAY GET OUT OF THE CC JAILHOUSE in order to then be soon after be declared the Most Wanted Man in Cleveland County??? Unless Gerald Wade Murray escaped from the CC Jail, some Judge would have had to turn Mr. Murray loose, On bond or some other way.
And, there are a number of CC Jail inmates that have been in jail awaiting trial for many months and even YEARS!!!???
