Much to the disappointment of we Cleveland Countians, what was once known as our Cleveland County School Board has become a bureaucracy headed up by a bureau chief, a.k.a. Robert Queen.
We thought that a Democratic school board was the big problem, so we elected Republican Danny Blanton to shake things up, as he surely did! However, he was roadblocked by the relentless immovable democrats at every turn as Danny Blanton tried to divulge the mass corruption within the CCS administration. Eventually it was all revealed with our thanks to Danny Blanton.
Then we thought that an all Republican School Board was what was needed and we got the opposite from what we were trying to achieve. We now have a Republican school bureaucracy led by a rotten bureau chief who has done nothing to advance education nor safety in Cleveland County Schools. This bureau chief has studied a policy book for school boards, misrepresented it and has devoted all of his time to: censoring board members, picking fights, mistreating Citizens who appear to speak to the Board, demanding that Law Enforcement remove Citizens from meetings, violating State and Federal laws and being an imposter!
Sorry Cleveland County! We have a bureaucracy running our schools.

Editor’s Note: As usual Ms. Sandra Stroud has hit the nail on the head. Robert Queen, Joel Shores, Ron Humphries, Rodney Fitch and Greg Taylor all Rogue Republicans, lied to us voters in the School Board Elections of 2020 to get our votes and then immediately did the opposite of what they promised to do. Remember that promise of Transparency that they all claimed as their guiding principles in ALL the 2020 Candidates forums, only to abandon Transparency the very minute they were sworn-in??
Now, the 2024 Elections are fast approaching and the lies are beginning to be cranked-out from this crowd with total and wild abandon. The recent NO-VANDALISM vandalism at Burns High School. The secret and ignored potential design flaws at the new $30 Million Burns and Crest High School auditoriums that Robert Queen and his Waterboys (Tim Moore included) refused to consider. Potential design flaws that may render those two new auditoriums useless for their intended purpose. A $30 million obvious risk that could have and should have been totally avoided in the first place if handled by reasonable and responsible people. Instead of Robert Queen and his band of dunces, misfits and clowns.
