The very last sentence in my Part 5 Article had ONE incorrect word. I invited folks to come out to the “Tuesday” School Board meeting, when the meeting is actually on Monday, November 8, 2021 at 6:00 PM at the CCS Central Services Building on 400 W. Marion Street in Shelby.
Although I correctly gave the time and date in the main body of the Part 5 article, I believe our public-school system in Cleveland County is broken and it is YOU, the citizens of Cleveland County, that can fix it. YOU, being aware of what is going on at CCS, is the necessary component to fixing the many problems within CCS and especially on the School Board-which is responsible for the proper operation of CCS. Fix the School Board and the education in our public schools gets fixed in the process. I do not want ANYBODY
to come to the School Board meeting on the wrong day, The RIGHT day is Monday, November 8, 2021 for the school board meeting. Please come out and pack the house. Watch what is going on. And especially watch what is NOT going to happen under the leadership of School Board Chairman Robert “Luke” Queen. If Luke has his way, there will be NO discussion at the school board meeting because LUKE has already made all the decisions. Cover-up problems, teach Critical Race Theory and tell all the lies he thinks are necessary to shut down Danny Blanton from telling the truth. Folks, YOU need to see Luke Queen in action. When you figure out what Luke is doing, YOU will know it is time for Luke to GO as School Board Chairman.
And, Luke can be made to go as School Board Chairman at the school board meeting scheduled for December 14, 2021. That is when the office of Chairman for Luke Queen runs out and the office of the School Board Chairman for the next year is chosen. Luke may be reelected as I am sure he is reading these articles and getting his “sycophants” on the school board lined up to reappoint him.
For your information, The definition of a sycophant is a person who tries to gain attention by flattering wealthy or influential people. An example of a sycophant is someone who agrees with everything his boss says and who brings his boss gifts once a month.
What needs to happen December 14, 2021 is the School Board elect Danny Blanton as Chairman of the School Board. Danny Blanton may not be an expert (right now) in Robert’s Rules of Order. But one thing is certain. The CCS School Board, under Danny Blanton as Chairman, will discontinue their illegal secret meetings and cover-ups. And problems will be identified. As I always say, you have to find out and recognize problems before you can fix them. And there are plenty of problems that need fixing.
