Folks, it is NO uncertainty that the 2022 CCS School Board Elections were a political disaster for the Cleveland County GOP (Republican) Party’s corrupt internal apparatus. The Rogue Republicans, Dennis Bailey, David Allen, Kevin Whisnant, Pam Keller, et al, aligned with the Robert Queen faction, then in power within the CCGOP leadership, decided to take up Robert Queen’s, Ron Humphries, Joe3l Shores bitter hatred of Danny Blanton on the CCS School Board and remove Blanton from office in the 2022 School Board’s Republican Primary Elections.
However, the Rogue Republican’s scheme to remove Blanton (and later joined by Ronnie Grigg) was soon discovered by Robert A and announced to the whole world of Cleveland County Voters. Republican and Democrat. In the 2022 School Board Republican Primary Elections, Robert A supported Danny Blanton and Ronnie Grigg and Blanton and Grigg trounced the Rogue Republican candidates by a very wide margin. Then, in the 2022 General Elections, Robert A again fully supported ONLY Blanton and Grigg out of the four candidates while the Rogue Republicans supported their remaining candidates as well as two DEMOCRATS as their only remaining option to oust Danny Blanton and Ronnie Grigg. When the votes were counted on Election Day, Danny Blanton, Ronne Grigg and Aaron Brides were statistically tied for Number ONE vote getters. For their part in this 2022 Election Fiasco, David Allen and Kevin Whisnant were removed from their positions as CCGOP officials in the next Republican Convention and replaced by Sherri Yocum and her slate of officers.
Now it is time for the 2024 Elections and Sherri Yocum and her team have turned out to be just as bad as the 2022 Rogue Republicans that they replaced. Dirty tricks, foul-smelling schemes, smile to your face and stab you in the back MO and all. Robert A can sees right through that kind of stuff and is not afraid to say so. In no uncertain terms.
Now, the November 2024 Monthly CCGOP monthly meeting rolls around and it is NOW Robert Queen, Joel Shores, Ron Humphries, Rodney Fitch and Greg Taylors time to face the voters in the 2024 Elections. This November 2024 CCGOP Meeting would be expected to be attended by potential 2024 Republican Candidates seeking election, and especially Re-election. And most everybody was there. Commissioner candidates, NC Se3cretary of State candidate, even Tim Moore and one of his opponents for the new 14th US Congress office were in attendance.
But what stood out like a sore thumb was this. NONE of the incumbent CCS School Board Members, all Republicans whose time it is for re-election, were anywhere to be found. Robert Queen was AWAL. Joel Shores was AWAL, Joel Shores was AWAL, Ron Humphries was AWAL, Rodney Fitch (the Pickleball Romeo) was AWAL and, last, but not least, Greg Taylor was AWAL.
All these AWALs by Rogue Republicans: Queen, Shores, Humphries, Fitch and Taylor are unexplainable by conventional and rational political logic. But clear a bell to Robert A as a typical CCGOP Rogue Republican political dirty trick. Just like in the 2022 School Board Elections as a failed last resort. The CCGOP Rogue Republicans will again “co-pollenate” with previously defeated Democrat School Board members to prevent Danny Blanton and Ronnie Grigg from assembling themselves into a NEW MAJORITY on the CCS School Board. And then making a complete draining of the “swamp of corruption” at CCS a certainty that is surely long overdue. The Rogue Republicans and woke Democrats all know that there is way too much easy and corrupt money flowing through CCS for such a thing as that!!!
Folks, Robert A can smell this CCGOP stench from a mile away.
