The Mid-Day Republican Women’s group was founded by Marge Hooper as a way for Republican Women to come together independently from the CCGOP and the WeRCC (Women Republicans of Cleveland County) bickering and infighting-mostly regarding Money. The CCGOP men are too lazy to work on fundraising projects and expect the WeRCC women to do that “grunt” work. And then the men expect the women to turn over their fundraising proceeds to them, without having much say on where the money is spent. It has always been that way here in Cleveland County.
Marge Hooper didn’t particularly like that kind of arrangement between the CCGOP and WeRCC. So, Marge did something about it. She started this Mid-Day Women Republican Women’s Group that is independent of the CCGOP and WeRCC. This group can do their own functions, raise their own funds and spend THEIR money supporting good Republican candidates of their own choosing.
Marge Hooper is also an active Republican who often speaks at Commissioners and School Board Meetings. In particular, Marge Hooper is against the Gay Pride Democrats’ promotion of indoctrinating children at school with Gay Pride-produced videos shown in Math Classes to young children. And especially the mutilation of children’s bodies to another gender way before they are old enough to know better.
So, with the present Democrat Party pushing Gay Pride stuff onto people that don’t want to hear it or see it; as well as the Shelby Taxpayer supported Library’s full endorsement of the Gay Pride’s June Gay Pride Month celebrations that have caused great controversy all over the USA as well as at the Shelby Library, Marge has relocated the Mid-Day Republican Women’s June 22, 2023 meeting to the American Legion Post 82 on South Lafayette Street in Shelby at NOON. The entire meeting change announcement is shown below.

Our Meeting will NOT be held at the Library this month. We will be at the American Legion, Post 82, South LaFayette Street, Shelby.
Our Speaker this month will be: Dr. Paul Brintley. The Subject will be Trafficking in North Carolina.
Dr. Brintley has authored books entitled Black Lies Matter, loyalty to the Man of God, Two Wives in the Pastor’s House and Business by Faith.
He is the Senior Pastor & Founder of Christian Fellowship Assembly in Dallas, North Carolina and a frequent speaker at the Faith & Freedom Coalition.
