Folks, no matter what happened anywhere else in North Carolina or the USA. A RED Tsunami hit Cleveland County in the 2022 General Elections. Republicans were the highest vote “getters” in every race. And by a very large margin.
Especially in the Cleveland County Schools School Board Election. Republicans won all four positions by a very large margin. The top three Republicans were almost tied for number one position. They were all within several hundred votes of each other. And the fourth place Republican was many thousands of votes over the top Democrat candidate.
The CCS School Board is now 100% composed of White Republican men. Some citizens are now complaining about that. But that is the results of this election by A LARGE MAJORITY. And Robert A is just stating a fact.
And, here is another fact. Danny Blanton, the top vote getter in the 2022 Republican Primary as well as in the 2022 General Election for CCS School Board is will now become the most senior member of the Cleveland County School Board when the new School Board is sworn in.
This very important fact, included with the fact that Cleveland County Schools faces emergency situations with student education due to COVID shutdowns and so many years of Democrat control. THIS upcoming School Board, 100% Republican and all, except Danny Blanton, are newly elected or in their first terms; need to hit the ground running as soon as possible.
There is only one solution to this important issue. This “new” School Board must select Danny Blanton as Chairman and Blanton’s closest “getter done” ally, Ronnie Grigg as Vice-Chairman. And, that is that!!!
Any and all Rogue Republicans must just get over themselves and finally do what is right–for the best education and interest of our children. The students, teachers at CCS and taxpayers as well. And, that is that, too.
So folks, get yourself on Facebook, on Twitter, telephone, “Smoke Signals,” Sky-Writers or whatever else and beat the drums for Danny Blanton as Chairman and Ronnie Grigg as Vice Chairman of the new School Board. Time is short and the importance of this is the highest. Me, you and everybody else must do our part in making this happen. Pronto!
