It is April 14, 2022, and I am attending a Candidates Forum sponsored by the Women Republicans of Cleveland County for the seven candidates running in the Republican 2022 Primary election for the School Board. There are four school board member seats up for election. Incumbent school board members up for election this year are Republican Danny Blanton and Democrats Phillip Glover, Dena Green, Coleman Hunt.
Those also attending this forum include School Board Chairman Robert “Luke” Queen and Queen’s sycophants Kevin Whisnant and Guy Smith. All of which are involved with other Rogue Republicans in a scandal involving an attempt to get Danny Blanton removed from office by conspiring to recruit other dis-informed Republicans to run against Blanton in the Republican Primary. As well as “ginning-up” a five-page letter by Robert Queen that defames Danny Blanton.
Now, let’s fast forward through the forum, which will be described in a separate article.
As everyone in attendance at the forum was leaving, and I was already outside on the sidewalk, one of the Republican Candidates asked me to speak to him. So, I did. We talked mostly about his answer to a question that I had asked as a member of the public. We talked about this and that and this and that as everyone was getting into their cars and leaving. WE were the last ones to leave. Or so I thought.
I arrived home with NO problems. However, the telephone rang shortly after 10 PM. The person calling asked me if I was all right and whether or not I had any problems on the way home? No problems I said, why are you asking? The person told me that Robert Queen had been sitting in his vehicle watching me for a long time and they were concerned that Queen might follow me out and try to do me harm. No harm I said. I also said that I did not notice Robert Queen, but I had better become more vigilant as several others had previously expressed concerns for my safety.
About 20 minutes later the phone rang again. It was another person who had attended the WeRCC forum calling to see if I was OK. Had I had any problems. That Robert Queen had sat in his vehicle watching me after the forum ended and I was talking to one of the candidates.
All this is on top of several other email messages I have received over the last 10 days or so from people concerned about my safety and also praying for my safety.
Well, folks, I am not afraid one bit of Robert “Luke” Queen. Perhaps that notion is foolish, especially after I have noticed erratic and aberrant behavior from Robert Queen and even suggested, hypothetically, that Robert Queen may already be a danger to himself and to others. Perhaps I should take some kind of action?
But, what kind of ACTION???
I once mentioned that a former Shelby Police Officer had once offered me the use of one of his bullet-proof vests. Perhaps I will call this person tomorrow and ask him if that offer still stands.
And, If I can get a hold of that vest, wear it on the outside to every School Board forum, County Commissioner’s meeting, etc. And, folks, if something bad happens to me, please call law enforcement and suggest to them that they put Robert Queen right at the TOP of their suspect list.
Anything else I might think to do, I will not say.
