Folks, it seems Burns High School has gone wild with fights. And the new female principal sent in to restore law and order at BHS still has a long way to go. It sounds to me like the days of fights where the Principal runs to the front office, locks the door behind him, and hides, like in the late 60s and early seventies, has returned to Burns High School.
My source called me early Friday afternoon. Basically, minutes after I walked in the door from attending a School Board “Work-Shop” from Friday Morning at 9:00 AM to about 12:00 PM. Hearing nothing about the fights that were going on right under their noses. My attention was to immediately write about the pretty much worthless “Work Shop” but the BHS fights and other things changed my priorities. I will describe the Work Shop in an upcoming article.
Basically, the Gang-Style five-on-one fight that happened Thursday at Burns High School when this 15-year-old student was walking down the hall, stalked by five older students (ranging in age from 16 to 19 years old) caught up with the younger student, spread out around him, shoved him against a wall and began to savagely beat him right there on the spot. The 15year old student, a wrestler, instinctively lowered his head and began swinging wildly to fend the gang away from him as best he could. Luckily several male teachers were close enough and arrived soon enough before any real damage was done to anybody. And, a cameraman with knowledge of the fight beforehand, caught most of the fight on his (or her) cellphone. Also, the CCS Security Camera caught the whole thing from start to finish.
The five older perpetrators were identified as was the 15-year-old student they intended to beat up. Parents were called and the parent of the 15-year-old called to the school was told that her son would be criminally charged too because he defended himself.
Of course, self-defense is a RIGHT recognized universally in the laws of this land. Which includes Cleveland County. However, CCS officials at Burns High School said that the 15-year-old tried to defend himself, so he will be criminally charged too. As well as being suspended from school for 10 days, So, the family of the fight victim (the 15-year-old) has lawyered up for anything stupid that CCS tries to do. And are reportedly actively considering filing a lawsuit against Cleveland County Schools
And, there is more. The 15-year-old and his family have received serious threats that this is not the end of the fight. That they would seek out his family residence and “shoot it up” with the family inside. And perhaps other violent things at school.

According to sources, the five who apparently planned and executed this attack, with a cameraman at the ready, are Hispanic and the 15-year-old was perceived as being “friendly” with a Hispanic female student at Burns High School. So, there is a racial component playing out here also.
One has to wonder, knowing that gangs of all sorts have infiltrated Shelby and maybe now Cleveland County too. And whether or not the notorious Hispanic gang MS-13 is alive and well at Burns High School?
Folks, all this happened at Burns High School this past Thursday. Along with two more fights. And Another fight Friday at Burns High School. Four fights in two days seem like a trend. And where were the School Board during all of this?
I am an EYE witness as to exactly where the School Board was from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM Friday morning March 25, 2022. They were at the CCS Central Offices I Shelby holding a so-called Work Session. I was there and NOT a WORD was mentioned about the violence at Burns High School that was going on right around their ears. Sources say Superintendent Stephen Fisher had been called by the 15-year-old’s family Thursday but refused to take or return their call. Just the kind of thing that CCS does best, stick their heads in the sand, deny there are problems, and hope they will just go away.
Folks, I will notify you of any additional news about this fight at Burns High School. I will also write a separate article describing this PHONY work session the foolish School Board held on March 25, 2022,
In the meantime, folks, I have obtained a video recording of the fight held at Burns High School this past Thursday. It is the video taken by the cameraman. The Burns High School Security camera video shows more the start of the fight, but I believe this attached video shows enough for you to get the idea of what has happened and is happening at Burns High School that CCS and the School Board are trying to keep you from knowing about.
Also, note the girls laughing at the end of the Video. Perhaps the Camera Man was a girl, Maybe the girl that this fight was supposedly over?
