In the Shelby Star article published October 19, 2020 Reporter Rebecca Sitzes stated that the lawsuit filed by Mr. Willie Green against Shelby Mayor Stanhope O. Anthony III had been dismissed for a lack of evidence. That lawsuit filed by Mr. Green alleged Mayor Anthony had defamed him, oddly enough, in another article previously published by Reporter Rebecca Sitzes several months before regarding Mr. Green’s Zoning Change Request that the Shelby City Council had denied for no given reason. There are indications that the Shelby Star, Mayor Stan Anthony as well as the Shelby City Planning and Zoning Board Chairman Walt Scharer may end up being included in the lawsuit. Also note that I had also written a detailed evaluation of a previous Court Order that ended up as the basis for two complaints to the North Carolina Judicial Standards Commission.
Now, Court Orders were filed with the Cleveland County Clerk of Superior Court on October 29, 2020 ordering Mr. Green’s case against Mayor Anthony to proceed to either Mediation and then to Trial by Jury February 8, 2021 if Mediation is not successful.
This information has just come to me and I am not totally certain just exactly what has transpired here in all the legal mumbo-jumbo down at the Cleveland County Courthouse. But, one thing is certain. Mr. Green’s case just got a big “Green Light” to continue and Mr. Green will finally get his day in Court.
As far as Mayor Anthony’s legal maneuvers to get the case thrown out before he has to take the stand and testify under oath, whatever Mayor Anthony is trying to hide behind all his phony legal actions and other courthouse shenanigans-Anthony’s legal “hidey- holes” have all disappeared in front of his own eyes and the truth of the matter is finally about to come out. We thank Judge Forrest Don Bridges for his role in making this all come about.
We also must warn Mayor Anthony that his trial, based on the truth of the matter is about to happen and that any more lies will have to be made under oath. With possible criminal “Perjury” felony charges waiting for any future lies in this matter.
There you have it folks. The latest and the greatest news about the longtime corruption, hiding behind the guise of racism, involving the City of Shelby and Mr. Willie Green. We will let you know more as this case progresses from today into tomorrow. And, finally before a Jury Trial or a fair settlement.

My personal opinion about this latest ruling is somewhat disheartening considering a complaint had to be filed against Judge Bridges for his previous misconduct involving this case. Based on the complaint I filed Judge Bridges should recuse himself from the case.
Be advised that I have no intentions of withdrawing my complaint. It is my hope that you suffer no retaliation from Judge Bridges as a result of my demanding resolution to my complaint.
