Folks, remember that article I put out just a few days ago that included a copy of a $50,000 county check made out to the American League World Series? Along with other stuff. Do you remember I asked the county just how much county tax dollars had been funneled into the ALWS overall, and when such payments were authorized.
Well folks, the county has refused to provide that information. And for a damned good (for them) reason.
Looking through all the information that came into my possession I found other documents that a cursory review indicates over $4 Million of yours and my tax dollars have gone to the ALWS. All the while the Commissioners have cut overall funding for our schools. Secretly of course. Secretly pouring tons of money into the ALWS and secretly cutting funding for schools. And not so secretly refusing to answer up for what they have done.
YOU ask the commissioners why they are spending such large sums of OUR tax money on the ALWS, that have not benefited our local athletes one bit. While secretly cutting school funding. Don’t ask me, Ask the Commissioners. And if the commissioners deny any part of what I just said, report back to me what they said and I will show you the proof of what I am talking about. That is if the lack of swimming pools and auditoriums at Burns and Crest High Schools are not proof enough.
So, if you won’t ask the Commissioners about this and refuse to learn the truth, go ahead and vote Holbrook, Whetstine and Bridges back into office. Then go look into any mirror to see the dummy looking back at you.
