Question:<\/b><\/u><\/strong>\u00a0<\/b><\/strong>How can you tell when CC Commissioner Chairman Kevin Gordon is \u201clying\u201d??? <\/b><\/u><\/strong>(\u201cLying\u201d being in the form of a <\/b><\/strong>deception<\/b><\/u><\/strong>)??? <\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n

The \u201cpunchline\u201d <\/b><\/strong>answer<\/i><\/b><\/u><\/em><\/strong>\u00a0is: \u201c<\/b><\/strong>WHEN HIS MOUTH IS MOVING<\/b><\/strong>!!!\u201d<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n

Taken another way this Old HUMOR can take another more modern form:<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n

How can you tell when CC Commissioner Chairman Kevin Gordon is trying to deceive the Citizens, voters and Taxpayers in Cleveland County??? <\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n

The punchline answer is:<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n

He sends TWO (2) <\/b><\/strong>Press Releases<\/i><\/b><\/u><\/em><\/strong>\u00a0to the<\/b><\/strong>\u00a0Shelby Star!!<\/b><\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/b><\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

Now, folks, the jokes, the games and the deceptions stop right here. The rest of this article talks about three<\/b><\/u><\/strong>\u00a0things:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. <\/b>Corruption (Scheming) <\/b><\/strong><\/li>\n
  2. <\/b>Corruption<\/b><\/strong>(Lying, Codewords)<\/b><\/strong>\u00a0and<\/li>\n
  3. <\/b>More Corruption (with intent to Deceive!!)<\/b><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

     <\/p>\n

    (1)<\/b><\/strong>Putting up Solar Panels on Cleveland County Farmland appears to be a very lucrative business<\/b><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    Instead of a hard scrabble daylight-to-dark life \u00a0of hard work tilling the soil, putting in a crop, tending to that crop, harvesting that crop and hopefully selling that crop for enough ca$h to pay off all the expenses of raising that crop; Now, all one has to do is call-in the Solar business people and let them do all the work of installing the solar panel, let the panels collect the rays of the sun and turn those rays into electricity, and the farmer lounges around for years and years drawing lease payments for around 40 years. It appears to be a good deal if you can get it.<\/b><\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

    \u00a0<\/b><\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

    Note that last sentence. \u201cIt appears to be a good deal if <\/u>YOU<\/i><\/b><\/u><\/em><\/strong>\u00a0can get it.\u201d<\/u><\/p>\n

     <\/p>\n

    And, remember, this is good ole Cleveland County. The land of corruption, more corruption and MORE CORRUPTION<\/b><\/strong>. In Cleveland County, the good deals go to or through the CC Commissioners, NOT <\/i><\/b><\/em><\/strong>YOU!!! <\/i><\/b><\/u><\/em><\/strong>The YOU\u2019s that get into the good deals in Cleveland County are the family and friends of the CC Commissioners, Or, perhaps the ones who pay off the biggest amount of $$$\u00a0<\/i><\/b><\/u><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

    So, now let get to the details.<\/p>\n

     <\/p>\n

    The March 25, 2025 Shelby Star<\/i><\/b><\/u><\/em><\/strong>\u00a0(that\u2019s YESTERDAY<\/b><\/strong>)<\/b><\/strong>\u00a0publishes an article titled \u201cCleveland residents who support solar farm question Lawsuit by county\u201d <\/b><\/u><\/strong>You can read the Shelby Star<\/i><\/b><\/u><\/em><\/strong>\u00a0at any CC Library or at the link provided below:<\/p>\n

     <\/p>\n

    Robert A<\/i><\/b><\/u><\/em><\/strong>\u00a0will stick to the pertinent facts and obvious conclusions.<\/p>\n

    Facts:<\/i><\/b><\/u><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    • Back in 2020 Cleveland County (the county) issued a Permit to certain Cleveland County individuals and Brookcliff Solar to construct a solar farm on 500 acres that the individuals owned off New Prospect Church Road.<\/li>\n
    • As is often the case, new enterprises often take more time to get started THAN originally estimated. And the Permit expire before ALL the \u201carrangements\u201d could be made.<\/li>\n
    • So, the individuals and Brookcliff Solar reapplied for a new permit and the foolish CC Commissioners under the leadership of Chairman Kevin Gordon refused to approve an extension or a new permit.<\/li>\n
    • The individuals and Brookcliff Solar filed a legal action against Cleveland County and Superior Court Judge Todd Pomeroy ruled in favor of the individuals and Brookcliff Solar, basically stating that the individuals and Brookcliff Solar could continue with the Solar Farm construction project whether the original permit had expired or not.<\/li>\n
    • The double-foolish CC Commissioners have appealed the Order from Superior Court Judge Todd Pomeroy to the North Carolina Court of Appeals. A process that take years for the Appeals Court to decide and maybe even more years if either the County Commissioners or the individual and Brookcliff Solar appeal the NC Appeals Court ruling to the NC Supreme Court.<\/li>\n
    • Records allege that the Cleveland County Commissioners have already spent $40,000<\/i><\/b><\/u><\/em><\/strong>of taxpayer dollar$ on lawyer bills just to begin to try to stop something that the Commissioners originally approved in the first place.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

       <\/p>\n

      Obvious Conclusions:<\/b><\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

        \n
      • Since CC Superior Court Judge Todd Pomeroy has already ruled AGAINST<\/i><\/b><\/u><\/em><\/strong>the CC Commissioners foolish notion that they can do damn well anything they please, no matter what, despite the Commissioners foolish determination to build a NEW Justice Center that will cost taxpayers at least $400 Million Dollar$ plus interest; great weight must be placed on Judge Pomeroy\u2019s correct decision to reject the Commissioners foolishness. Something the NC Appeals Court will also be prone to do.<\/li>\n
      • Therefore, it must be totally concluded that the foolish CC Commissioners must be acting in someone else\u2019s best interest who are NOT the individuals that were first involved and Brookcliff Solar. And, that this someone else must be paying off the foolish Commissioners in some other way, Cash bribes, etc. for the Commissioners to stop the original individuals from their own best interests.<\/li>\n
      • Or, the foolish commissioners are just vain and stupid. Perhaps the original individuals and Brookcliff Solar have refused to pay the Commissioners ca$h bribes or refused to provide sexual favors that others are willing to do.<\/li>\n
      • Or, who knows what.<\/li>\n
      • <\/b>The only obvious thing here is that Commissioners Kevin Gordon, Johnny Hutchins, Doug Bridges, Deb Hardin (and what about Tony Berry???) are practicing <\/b><\/strong>LAWFARE<\/b><\/u><\/strong>against Cleveland County citizens and other businesses. And, using Cleveland County Taxdollar$ to do it <\/b><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

         <\/p>\n
