Kevin is dedicated to rooting out wasteful spending and ensuring Cleveland County spends taxpayer dollars responsibly. This election vote for Kevin Gordon as County Commissioner.<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/b><\/strong>The fact of the matter is Kevin Gordon has a record in office<\/b><\/u><\/strong>\u00a0and Kevin Gordon is exactly the opposite of what his campaign materials are saying.<\/b><\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

For instance:<\/p>\n

  • Under Kevin Gordon, Cleveland County has received $105 Million for the Justice Center Project. Spent most to all of it and has nothing to show for it except for big \u201ccarp pond\u201d size holes in the ground with NO actual construction of the buildings even started.<\/li>\n
  • Under Kevin Gordon, The County EMS services did a hostile takeover of all of the Cleveland County Rescue Squads under the pretense that $3 Million could be saved. In fact, the takeover cost the County $9 million the first year. A $12 Million dollar swing toward bankruptcy for Cleveland County completely attributable to poor management skills and bad planning by Kevin Gordon himself.<\/li>\n
  • The most recent $6 Million Shell Building gamble \u201cengineered\u201d by Kevin Gordon\u2019s Economic Development Partnership has failed. The Building has not sold and Cleveland County is now $6 million deeper in debt. And making payments that Cleveland County is hard pressed to pay without a big tax increase. All attributed to Kevin Gordon\u2019s poor financial judgement and an economic Development Partnership that has disintegrated before everybody\u2019s eyes due to Kevin Gordon\u2019s lack of fiscal Management and running off the EDP Director due to some sort of unknown disagreement that has been covered up.<\/li>\n
  • Kevin Gordon has not rooted out \u201cOne Penny\u201d in wasteful spending in his term as Cleveland County Commissioner. In fact, Kevin Gordon is on this Third County Manager and there are \u201crumors\u201d that Kevin Gordon may be running off more seasoned staff people in short order.<\/li>\n
  • Kevin Gordon is well known for his fits of rage and then pressures staff to have to cover up for him.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    No folks, Kevin Gordon is NOT the Clear Conservative Choice in the 2024 Commissioner Elections. Robert A. Williams is. You don\u2019t see Robert A<\/i><\/b><\/u><\/em><\/strong>\u00a0spending tons of money on billboard and huge campaign signs, TV Ads and expensive mailers. Robert A<\/i><\/b><\/u><\/em><\/strong>\u00a0is the clear conservative choice and Robert A<\/i><\/b><\/u><\/em><\/strong>\u00a0owes no huge campaign debts to big dollar \u201cdonors\/investors\u201d that will require repayment when and if Kevin Gordon is elected. The only debt Robert A<\/i><\/b><\/u><\/em><\/strong>\u00a0will owe is to provide citizens with fair and honest representation. Something that Cleveland County has NOT<\/b><\/strong>\u00a0seen for a very long time.<\/p>\n

    Folks, go to the Shelby Shopper and the Kings Mountain Herald to see Robert A\u2019s simple but telling Campaign ad that lists Robert A\u2019s<\/i><\/b><\/u><\/em><\/strong>\u00a0Top Ten Goals. There are no lies amongst them. This ad put out by Kevin Gordon\u2019s Campaign Committee as shown above is nothing but bald-faced lies and deceptions.<\/p>\n
