Editor\u2019s Note:<\/i><\/b><\/u><\/em><\/strong>\u00a0Folks, by now every reader should know that <\/i><\/b><\/em><\/strong>Robert A<\/i><\/b><\/u><\/em><\/strong>\u00a0pays<\/b><\/strong>\u00a0close attention to what he sees and hears. Especially regarding BAD governement. <\/b><\/strong>\u2026 Which seems ubituitous in Cleveland County, Raleigh and Washington, NC. And, around the world too, if you want to be fair.<\/i><\/b><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Recently Robert A<\/i><\/b><\/u><\/em><\/strong>\u00a0attended an event at a local Shelby Church. In a discussion with the Church Pastor, Robert A<\/i><\/b><\/u><\/em><\/strong>\u00a0learned the Church also sponsores a drug rehab program that has an exceptional success rate. Robert A<\/i><\/b><\/u><\/em><\/strong>\u00a0stated to the Pastor that Cleveland County had just received over $7 Million$ from a class action lawsuit involving Opiod drug manufacturers and suggested the Pastor look into it. The Pastor immediately Stated: \u201cNO WAY!!<\/b><\/u><\/strong>\u00a0WE DON\u2019T EVER TAKE GOVERNMENT MONEY!!!. There are always strings attached.\u201d<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Right about NOW, just about every volunteer Fire Department member in Cleveland County is aware that THEY are about to go the way of the Cleveland County Rescue Squads. Get eaten alive by the hostile takeover that Commissioner Chairman Kevin Gordon has in store for them. And, perhaps not knowing that their only chance for survival is to <\/b><\/strong>elect Robert A. Williams<\/i><\/b><\/u><\/em><\/strong>\u00a0to the Cleveland County Board of Commissioners. <\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n

Folks, this story didn\u2019t just happen in the last week or so with the articles <\/b><\/strong>Robert A<\/i><\/b><\/u><\/em><\/strong>\u00a0wrote about the Waco Fire Department getting so much <\/b><\/strong>$$$<\/b><\/strong>\u00a0and the other VFDs getting so little.. It started way back during a <\/b><\/strong>June 6, 2017<\/b><\/u><\/strong>\u00a0Commissioner\u2019s Meeting in a Public Hearing. When <\/b><\/strong>Robert A<\/i><\/b><\/u><\/em><\/strong>\u00a0was brave enough to stand up against all the greed and corrupting by the Commissioners at that time and stand alone, in opposition, to the Fallston FVD being willingly (and stupidly) being dragged into a trap set by the Commissioners and then Waco FVD Fire Chief Kevin Gordon. A trap that was baited by the promise of more money, but only if they would just sign up to join Cleveland County\u2019s Fire District and leave the old Fallston Fire District behind. And, raise the Fire Tax by 75% in the process.<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n

Robert A\u2019s<\/i><\/b><\/u><\/em><\/strong>\u00a0<\/i><\/b><\/em><\/strong>statements to the Commissioners\u00a0at that June 6, 2017 <\/i><\/b><\/em><\/strong>Commissioner\u2019s Public Hearing were clear. The Fallston Volunteer Fire Department had always paid their own way (because they had to). They had raised their own money and did not purchase anything until they could pay for it. Now, they say they had everything they needed, according to Fire Department members, and were debt free. So why did they need a 75% fire tax INCREASE???<\/i><\/b><\/u><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

But Kevin Gordon, the Waco VFD Fire Chief at the time, had gotten with Perry Davis (the CC Fire Marshal) and come up with a planned scheme to \u201cbedazzle\u201d the independent CC Fire Departments with promises of more money if they would only join the County Fire Districts. So, they (the independent fire departments), took the bait) and agreed to sell their souls to the \u201cgovernment.\u201d Never believing that once they were in Hell<\/b><\/u><\/strong>, they couldn\u2019t get back out again. The Fallston Fire Chief at the time, Danny Tysinger, even thanked Perry Davis and Fire Chief Gordon for their \u201chard work\u201d in entrapping the Fallston Fire Department into the county\u2019s web of deceit and corruption. Never thinking that one of their own would deceive and cheat them badly, just a few years down the road.<\/p>\n

Now, fast forward to the time of the Commissioners calling for a \u201cReferendum\u201d to raise the county-wide SALES tax to the maximum allowed by state law. Fire Chief Kevin Gordon was in the forefront of that effort too. Only thing was, the Citizens, when given the chance, voted in large numbers to shut down such a sales tax increase. And did so again and again. Three times in rapid succession and by large margins. The citizens, unlike the Commissioners at that June 6, 2017 Commissioners meeting, resoundingly spoke with a loud voice-three times in a row. <\/i><\/b><\/em><\/strong>NO NEW TAXES!<\/i><\/b><\/u><\/em><\/strong>\u00a0<\/i><\/b><\/em><\/strong>NO NEW TAXES!<\/i><\/b><\/u><\/em><\/strong>\u00a0<\/i><\/b><\/em><\/strong>NO NEW TAXES!<\/i><\/b><\/u><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

And, in the meantime, in the 2020 Commissioer\u2019s elections, Rogue Republicans Dennis Bailey, Robert Queen and others, along with the Commissioners, took an opportunity to appoint Kevin Gordon as the Commissioner candidate in the 2020 General Election for Commissioer. Skipping over Dennis Davis and Robbie Morgan, who had signed up and ran in the Republican Primary Election for the Commissioners Office. (Yes folks, Kevin Gordon never signed up to run for the Commissioner\u2019s vacancy in 2020. He was appointed by Dennis Bailey and the CCGOP Executive Committee. And once appointed, ran in the 2020 General Election with no significant Democrat opposition. Yes folks, Robert A<\/i><\/b><\/u><\/em><\/strong>\u00a0repeats, Kevin Gordon NEVER actually signed up to run for commissioner in the 2020 Elections<\/b><\/u><\/strong>. Kevin Gordon was appointed<\/b><\/u><\/strong>\u00a0by the Rogue Republican CCGOP Executive Committee who have caused so much grief here in Cleveland County ever since.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Now, fast forward to the front end of the 2024 Elections. Tim Moore<\/i><\/b><\/u><\/em><\/strong>\u00a0had been sued for his dalliance with a MARRIED WOMAN<\/b><\/u><\/strong>\u00a0in Raleigh. That lawsuit was settled under a cloud of secrecy. But Tim has dropped out of running for another term as Speaker of the house in favor of running for the US Congress. Where, if elected, Tim will have ZERO seniority<\/b><\/u><\/strong>\u00a0and his dumping money into Cleveland County, NC \u00a0will surely be severely curtailed.<\/p>\n

Kelly Hastings and Ted Alexander are running for their old offices in Raleigh. And Kevin Gordon, for the very first time, has finally signed up to run for Cleveland County Commissioner. And, Kevin Gordon, for all his outbursts and fits of fury at Commissioners Meetings (that were dutifully covered-up by county staff) is having to run for the Commissioners office for the very first time. And Kevin Gordon and all of Gordon\u2019s political partners are afraid of what might happen to Gordon and themselves on Election day in the 2024 Elections.<\/p>\n

So, to prop up their weakest link, Kevin Gordon; Tim Moore, Kelly Hastings and Ted Alexander arrange for large sums of \u201cState\u201d money to be sent down to Cleveland County Fire Dep;artments to basically buy their way back into the minds of Cleveland County voters. That and all their big campaign signs. But they hit a snag.<\/p>\n

Kevin Gordon\u2019s hostile takeover of the Cleveland County\u2019Rescue Squads, that cost Cleveland County\u2019s taxpayers $12 Million Dollar$, is on the minds of all the County\u2019s Volunteer Fire Departments. Who know for sure that their necks will be next on the chopping block. Especially since Kevin Gordon\u2019s influence in finding\u00a0<\/b><\/strong>people to put up all those big political campaign signs (probably his allies in the Fire Departments). As well as the major disparity in the State money that went to the different Fire Departments-like Waco getting the lion’s share of the State ca$h and all the rest getting much, much less-has taught the Cleveland County Firefighters a big lesson. They are the same pawns to Kevin Gordon as the Rescue Squad people were when they were taken over by the CC EMS.<\/p>\n

And worst of all, the County EMS employees have not been properly paid for years. A former EMS employee filed a Federal Lawsuit against Cleveland County that has been languishing in Federal and State Courts for years now while Cleveland County Lawyers have dragged their feet on the lawsuit in hopes of scaring off the Plaintiff in the Matter And dropping the case. Which is their usual MO.<\/p>\n

But, Sara Connor and her attorneys have persisted. And now, more EMS workers are joining in on the lawsuit. And a Federal Judge has stepped-in, in a very unusual manner. The Federal Judge, apparently tired of all the Cleveland County runarounds and delays, has issued a very serious Federal Court Order setting a firm schedule on the remaining lawsuit processes. AND has ordered, in no uncertain terms, that his Court will tolerate no more shenanigans from Kevin Gordon, the other Commissioners, the County Attorneys or anybody else.<\/p>\n

And, only the watchful eyes of Robert A Williams<\/i><\/b><\/u><\/em><\/strong>\u00a0have kept track of this and other lawsuits against Cleveland County and the CCS School Board. And folks, these insights are NOT pretty. Justice delayed is justice denied is a quote from somewhere that Robert A<\/i><\/b><\/u><\/em><\/strong>\u00a0remembers.<\/p>\n

So, folks, and especially you CC Firefighters, Robert A<\/i><\/b><\/u><\/em><\/strong> has cropped and enlarged this p; picture below of Tim Moore, Kelly Hastings and Ted Alexander personally delivering a payoff check for Two Million-Five Hundred Thousand Dollar$ made out to the Waco VFD Department. The Check is signed by Tim Moore, Ted Alexander and Kelly Hastings. No similar check has been delivered to any other CC Fire Department to Robert A\u2019s<\/i><\/b><\/u><\/em><\/strong>\u00a0personal knowledge.<\/p>\n

Wake-up Cleveland County Firefighters!!! YOU<\/i><\/b><\/u><\/em><\/strong>\u00a0have only one knowledgeable friend running for the Cleveland County Commissioners office. Robert A. Williams<\/i><\/b><\/u><\/em><\/strong>\u00a0and those who Robert A\u2019s<\/i><\/b><\/u><\/em><\/strong>\u00a0knowledge and research might influence. And Robert A<\/i><\/b><\/u><\/em><\/strong>\u00a0has already published their identities. Many times. And will again soon.<\/p>\n

Firefighters, only YOU<\/i><\/b><\/u><\/em><\/strong>\u00a0can help yourselves in this matter. YOU<\/b><\/strong>\u00a0must vote for Robert A<\/i><\/b><\/u><\/em><\/strong>\u00a0in record numbers.
