Cleveland County Schools has admitted that All these documents are public records but have continuously refused to provide those 3,200+ documents in violation of North Carolina Public Records laws. CCS Admin now says these public records will NOT be available until MARCH, 2025. Which is two full years AFTER the initial request and also AFTER the 2024 School Board Elections. Note that: if the rate of Bullying, fighting and violence at 3,200 per month holds until March of 2025, that would equal 800,000 incidents. Obviously, this between 3,200 to 800,000 incidents of bullying, fighting, and violence at CCS is serious business and great efforts have been made by CCS to cover this up. Things are NOT so good for students in Cleveland County Schools!!! Over 14,000 of our children are in danger at CCS.

However, recent media attention (NOT from the Shelby Star) has reported that in this same time frame, one county Middle School student (a boy) was stabbed to death, off campus. It was also reported that a girl from another county Middle School was stabbed and slashed at least 14 times in the face, body, and breast areas in a “brawl” in the school’s lunchroom. In the girl’s case, the school’s Resource Officer had notified the school administration for at least two days running that a boy student had been “known to be carrying a knife and threatening students,” but the school administration had not done anything about the situation although the school’s administration had plenty of written “Policies” in place that demanded that defined protective actions would be taken.

But those protective actions were not taken and the girl was attacked in the school lunchroom during a brawl. She was stabbed and slashed 14 times inflicting serious injuries requiring several major surgeries and “plastic” surgeries that will not totally conceal the serious scars to her face and body.

When the girl was sufficiently recovered and able to return to school, her parents immediately began HOME SCHOOLING arrangements for their child. The girl’s parents also have hired an attorney and filed a major lawsuit against the county school district that allowed this to happen in the first place.

Now, perhaps the more curious of you readers may have guessed or figured out that this County School District with the recent murder and maiming of two middle school students is NOT Cleveland County Schools. But Henry County Schools in Georgia. But how can any reader or even Robert A have KNOWN that this was NOT Cleveland County Schools since CCS refuses to provide their PUBLIC INFORMATION and PUBLIC RECORDS to the PUBLIC? Why have Cleveland County CITIZENS and the Cleveland County COMMISSIONERS continued to allow CCS to flaunt Public Records laws and NOT required CCS to be held accountable for their negligent actions or inactions? And, let’s also remember that the CCS School Board PRESENTLY has a major lawsuit against them that is very similar to what has recently happened in Henry County, Georgia. Let’s also remember that big four-day fight at Kings Mountain High School that caused parents to hold 600 students out of school until the Sheriff’s Office finally swept the halls at KMHS with police dogs to quell the fighting. Let’s also remember the bomb threats that caused lockdowns over several Cleveland County Schools.

And, last, but not least, was the October 20, 2023 email report to Robert A from an alleged Burns High School parent that stated:

“Good morning!

You post an abundant amount about the Cleveland County school board and things happening in Cleveland County Schools.

Why is nothing being said about AAAAAA BBBBBB getting arrested for assaulting a girl and threatening to blow her head off? Those; Robert Queen, Joel Shores, Ron Humphries, Rodney Fitch, and Greg Taylor, that ran in 2020 promising TRANSPARENCY, Yet, when elected practiced SECRECY, must ALL be defeated in the 2024 elections. All we need is FIVE GOOD challengers to send the Robert Queen, et al, crowd to the trash heap of history.

PS: Robert A. has indeed looked into the Burns High School allegation and will soon have access to documents and testimony that will tell the tale on CCS.

PS II: At present around 40 more former CCS students are being Homeschooled and the number is growing fast. Over 1,000 former CCS Students are now attending Pinnacle Classical Academy-Charter School. Many, many more former CCS students will soon be (or are now) attending Church Schools. This three-pronged approach appears to be the best way forward for education in Cleveland County.
