Folks, from the very first word of this Alienation of Affection lawsuit brought against NC Speaker of the House Tim Moore, Robert A has vowed to provide a fair and balanced report on the matter based on what has been alleged, what has been denied and what can or will be required to prove or disprove regarding the merits of the case. In previous articles Robert A has provided an exact copy of the entire lawsuit and made various statements regarding some important criteria involved with the lawsuit and how the process of the lawsuit will proceed under North Carolina law. For your convenience, Robert A will also provide this lawsuit as an attachment to this article.<\/p>\n

\tIf you readers will scroll the attached lawsuit back to the end, you will find that the Plaintiff, Scott Riley Lassiter, has provided a Signed, Dated and Notarized statement that what he has alleged in his lawsuit is TRUE and ACCURATE. You readers should note that the statements that Tim Moore and his admitted \u201con and off again\u201d paramour, Mrs. Jamie Liles Lassiter, have both made to various news media are NOT sworn and notarized as being truthful and accurate. However, per North Carolina Rules of Civil Procedure, Tim Moore has 30 days (plus any approved extensions of time) to \u201cAnswer\u201d Mr. Scott Lassiter\u2019s Complaint. And those Tim Moore Answers will be required to be made under oath. Such time as Trim Moore\u2019s sworn answer has not arrived yet, any statements made to the \u201cPress\u201d beforehand must be considered as only gossip. Mrs. Jamie Lassiter\u2019s statements are also just gossip until she is put on the witness stand and placed under oath. Robert A predicts this lawsuit will take some time before it ever sees a Courtroom Trial and there will be no telling how much \u201cspinning\u201d of this story (gossip wise) will be told then.<\/p>\n

\tHowever, one of the essential elements of Tim Moore\u2019s stated \u201cgossip\u201d defense is that Mrs. Lassiter allegedly told Tim that she was \u201cLegally Separated\u201d from her husband. According to the Lawsuit, Mr. Scott Lassiter did NOT discover his wife\u2019s alleged three-year adultery with Tim until December 22, 2022.<\/p>\n

\tIn searching North Carolina Public Records, the NC Board of Elections Voter Registration records show that Mr. Scott Lassiter and Mrs. Jamie Lassiter lived together at 209 Ronaldsby Drive in Cary, NC 27511 during all this time in question. \tAccording to this official public record Mrs. Jamie Lassiter lived at the same address with Mr. Scott Lassiter as man and wife during the whole time that Tim Moore and Mrs. Jamie Lassiter were doing their \u201ccarrying on.\u201d And, some questions remain. Are Tim Moore and Mrs. Jamie Liles Lassiter still carrying on?? Are Mr. Scott Lassiter and Mrs. Jamie Lassiter still living at that very same address? Where are the \u201cSeparation Agreements\u201d that Mrs. Jamie Lassiter says that they exist. Without those documents in hand. Tim Moore may have a hard row to hoe when he is looking a Jury in the eye.
\nIt is very, very likely that Mr. Scott Lassiter will introduce these valid NC State Records into evidence during his lawsuit against Tim Moore. Political Smackdown Reporting on Tim Moore\u2019s Lawsuit:
\n\tThe June 25th, 2023 segment of Political Smackdown started off with discussion that a rare \u201cAlienation of Affection\u201d Lawsuit had been filed against Speaker of the House Tim Moore. This segment of Political Smackdown was long on personal opinions without relevant facts and short (to almost non-existence) on legal requirements and burdens of proof. There was a statement made that North Carolina was only one of six states that allowed such lawsuits as \u201cAlienation of Affection.\u201d But this is North Carolina and a valid lawsuit has been filed against Tim Moore. And, such a statement as that will never be uttered inside a North Carolina Superior Courtroom. A legal proceeding that has been commenced in Wake County, NC and that is a fact that Tim Moore will just have to deal with. Right of Wrong. And short and limited interviews (gossip) with various news media won\u2019t cut it when the legal \u201crubber meets the road\u201d in an actual courtroom in Raleigh with a large percentage of Democrats in the jury pool. Also, Alienation of Affection lawsuits have been filed right here in Cleveland County involving high-level elected officials and their carryings-on. Robert A, during courthouse research, has seen them with his very own eyes. What Robert A has not seen much of is the panelists on Political Smackdown themselves doing court research, court watching, attending CCS School Board Meetings or County Commissioner\u2019s meetings, etc. It just seems like Political Smackdown program dialogs are mostly gossip and little cold hard facts. Especially panelist \u201cyellow dog\u201d Democrat Betsy Wells and her \u201cMudhen\u201d connections.<\/p>\n

\tThere was a statement in this particular segment of Political Smackdown that Mr. Scott Lassiter had better \u201cWatch out\u201d if he loses this lawsuit. That Tim Moore will come at him with all the power that he has. Robert A has investigated Mr. Lassiter\u2019s Attorneys and finds that one of them is a former Wake County District Court Judge. It would be prudent for Speaker of the House Tim Moore to tread lightly on calling this lawsuit frivolous and false when he is so very vulnerable to his paramour\u2019s truthfulness about being legally separated while still living in the same house with her husband for the three years she was \u201cdoing\u201d Tim Moore in Raleigh. Or, what Tim Moore was doing outside of Raleigh? Something that all of Political Smackdown had to know about, despite all their denials.<\/p>\n

\u201cOh, what a wicked web we weave when first we practice to deceive.\u201d Now, Political Smackdown is caught-up in that \u201cwicked web\u201d too. Something Robert A refuses to do!!! Or to hurt truly innocent bystanders!!<\/p>\n
