Folks, Cleveland County Commissioner Chairman Kevin Gordon says taxes are not necessarily taxes. There are Property Taxes which depend on both tax rates and property valuations. That fees on taxpayers are not taxes. That sales taxes are so low that they are not taxes either. That the new sales tax increase referendum will only cost 25 cents per $100 spent. Which is nothing. Of course, every taxpayer knows that everything that government puts on them, whether it be sales taxes, property taxes, Income taxes, garbage fees, School taxes, city taxes, fire taxes, Revenue Stamps on deeds, and whatever, all end up doing one thing. Taking money out of the Taxpayer\u2019s pockets and putting the money into government accounts. Where Government spends those taxpayer dollars wastefully and with a \u201cwild abandon.\u201d Cleveland County Commissioner Chairman Kevin \u201cMad Dog\u201d Gordon firmly believes in Wild Abandon!!! For him and him only!<\/p>\n

Commissioner Chairman Kevin Gordon is also a well-practiced LIAR. Mad Dog Gordon falsely writes that HE does NOT want to raise taxes and neither do the Board of County Commissioners. One would immediately ask, \u201cthen why did YOU ALL vote unanimously to put a sales tax increase referendum on the 2022 Elections ballot?? An act that Commissioners, including Kevin Gordon before he was appointed<\/u>\u00a0by the Rogue Republicans to be a County Commissioner candidate in the 2020 Elections. (Gordon never personally \u201csigned up\u201d to run in that election. Or any election that Robert A<\/b><\/u><\/strong>\u00a0has knowledge of.) This is the third time this sales tax increase referendum has shown up on our Election Ballots. Voters have voted overwhelmingly against that sales tax increase two times already and will very likely vote overwhelmingly AGAINST that sales tax increase once again on November 8th<\/sup>, 2022.<\/p>\n

But, Kevin \u201cMad Dog\u201d Gordon refuses to take NO for an answer. That Sales tax increase is on the 2022 Cleveland County Elections Ballot and Mad Dog has already cooked up another way to get into Cleveland County taxpayer\u2019s pockets. And Robert A<\/b><\/u><\/strong>\u00a0is about to provide you with undeniable PROOF. A clip from the October 13, 2022 Cleveland County Commissioners \u201cWorkshop\u201d video. Commissioner Kevin \u201cMad Dog\u201d clearly states that HE will task \u201cStaff\u201d to come up with a FEE Schedule for the new mandatory \u201cFire Codes\u201d that the Commissioners are about to approve. Gordon can be clearly heard to say that Building Codes have fees that the citizens have to pay. We should also make citizens PAY for Mandatory Fire Codes.<\/p>\n

And that\u2019s not including the new Property Tax collection \u201cGestapo\u201d Unit that are, as we speak, going after 500 selected Cleveland County residences as a \u201cPractice Run\u201d for property tax increases. This info will be provided in a separate article, but please beware that your house might be on that 500 list. And there have already been clashes with residents.
