The City of Shelby held its Fourth of July Celebration Friday Evening, July 1, 2022 at the Shelby Park. The turnout was reported to be high. Robert A held off this report a few days to see if the Shelby Daily Liar would cover the event. An event where the main attraction was a large brawl, a \u201dRumble in the Jungle\u201d kind of fight where all the many participants were young black males. This, according to Facebook accounts and videos. One version, not verified, was gunshot(s) were fired. Some believe the violence was gang related. Which is very likely. Despite all the years of denying the existence of gangs in Shelby. Remember the \u201cChopper Boys\u201d who used to fire off their \u201cchoppers\u201d (machine guns) in West Shelby??<\/p>\n

In perspective:
\nOther news indicates some national black leaders, who are complaining about the repeal of Roe v. Wade by the US Supreme Court just days ago; after 50 years of being the law of the land, was in some way racist. That blacks in America were somehow singled out by this fair and long overdue US Supreme Court ruling. And the National July Fourth-Independence Day holiday was therefore an insult to black people everywhere and all across the USA. \u201cF\u2014K the Forth\u201d is their battle cry. Robert A seems to remember that a Black Democrat US Congressperson was the person who made that vulgar comment. The same people that used to and still do criticize President Trump for his use of words.<\/p>\n

A little closer to home-back in Shelby, NC-people of all shades and colors, Black and White, are talking about this large display of violence at the Shelby Park in the middle of a Fourth of July Festival.<\/p>\n

The Black community is ashamed, disgusted and wondering, where is the law and order the Black Leaders and the Shelby Police Department have promised them? And keep promising them. Despite all the crime, shootings and violence in THEIR midst. Some black chatter on Facebook says they avoid going anywhere and doing anything where there are a number of black youth\u2019s present.<\/p>\n

The White Community is also disgusted and wondering, where are the Black Leaders that have sold out to them, cheap, to keep the Black Community \u201ccooled down\u201d so they won\u2019t have to worry about episodes of violence taking place in THEIR midst? White chatter has always been to avoid going anywhere or doing anything where there are a number of blacks present. Young or old.<\/p>\n

And, this is how things have been in Shelby for a very long time. White\u2019s pay-off the willing \u201cUncle Toms\u201d and \u201cCoons\u201d with token payments like Board Assignments, token \u201cAwards\u201d and such. Communities in Schools, the CCS Diversity Team. And then the Uncle Toms and Coons tell the black \u201cmasses\u201d that they are effectively working \u201cbehind the scenes.\u201d Things will be getting better soon. But things never do seem to get better. They get worse and cost taxpayers MORE. Remember the new $90 million Jail Complex that is now estimated to cost $140 Million. Robert A estimates the costs will be closer to $200 Million before this project is done. Maybe $250 Million. Enough for new Cleveland County high schools.<\/p>\n

All the while the Shelby Daily Liar writes big stories about the Uncle Toms and the Coons and their prestigious accomplishments and awards. And the Shelby Daily Liar is conspicuously missing the report about this big brawl at the Shelby Independence Day Celebration. <\/p>\n

The City of Shelby, Black Community leadership and the Cleveland County Commissioners are quiet too. Robert A calculates the Shelby City Council, the County Commissioners, the CCGOP Executive Committee and Black so-called \u201cleaders\u201d are presently in hiding. Apparently waiting for the Library scandal (the LBGTQ-XYZ and CRT in the children\u2019s books to blow over. Blow over like they always do in Cleveland County when nothing is ever done to \u201cfix\u201d the root cause of the problem.<\/p>\n

But folks, Robert A has been approached to run for County Commissioner in 2024. And things like this are happening RGHT NOW with no fixes in sight. Stay tuned for Robert A\u2019s suggestions for some actions by the people themselves to immediately resolve some of these problems.<\/p>\n
