Folks, Just when you thought you had heard it all about the evil shenanigans being pulled by a very small ROGUE contingent within the Cleveland County Republican Party, you are reminded that they still have a well-used \u201ctrump card\u201d (not to be confused with President Donald J. Trump). They tell lies. BIG lies! Whoppers!! The bigger the better.<\/p>\n

These lies are a special kind of lies. Some are completely made up. Some are just facts with the names turned around. All of them are \u201cpropaganda.\u201c Distortions, deceptions and some completely made-up, with a planned an evil and foul-smelling purpose in mind. The purpose being to get rid of Danny Blanton from the Cleveland County School Board.<\/p>\n

Other calls have come in to me from sources that have asked to remain unnamed. Therefore, I call this a \u201cgossip report\u201d although I believe these reports are 100% true. I believe these reports are true because it fits the MO of those involved and are often backed up by my own observations.<\/p>\n

One set of \u201cgossip\u201d is that Dennis Bailey has been spreading around rumors that Danny Blanton has threatened to KILL him. Of course, threatening to kill someone is a crime. It is called \u201cCommunicating a Threat.\u201d At tis point I would say that if Dennis Bailey had proof, or witnesses, that Danny Blanton made such a threat, Bailey would have taken a criminal complaint (a warrant) out on Danny Blanton and taken Blanton to court. The problem for Bailey, if he took out such a warrant, would be to PROVE his allegations. If Bailey took out this warrant and lost the case, he would be disgraced. Besides that, it is still a whole year until the 2022 elections and voters might forget it by then. So, Bailey\u2019s tactics must be that he would float around these false statements around in the old tried and true Shelby \u201cWhispering Campaign\u201d for so long and so often that people would begin to believe them. This often works. And that is reason enough, for a character assignation campaign plot to go that route.<\/p>\n

The other set of \u201cgossip\u201d is that Danny Blanton threatened to \u201charm\u201d Robert \u201cLuke\u201d Queen and the Cleveland County Commissioners were a witness to it. Anecdotal evidence indicates the truth here is exactly the opposite. The Commissioners, back in June, refused to reappoint Robert \u201cLuke\u201d Queen to the Cleveland Community College Board of Trustees. AND, kept their appointment of Danny Blanton to the Cleveland County DSS Advisory Board. All I need to say about this is \u201cDon\u2019t believe me, Call the Cleveland County Commissioners and ask them!\u201d<\/p>\n

Of course, we all remember Luke Queen\u2019s fake letter of resignation from the CCC BoT and then how Wes Westmoreland, Dennis Bailey, Kevin Whisnant and David Allen \u201csnookered\u201d weak-willed State Senator Ted Alexander into reappointing Luke Queen to the CCC BoT as a General Assembly appointment. A quick check of the Cleveland County \u201cOfficial Website\u201d under Citizens Board Appointments shows that Robert Queen\u2019s NAME is missing from the Cleveland Community College Board of Trustee list. Instead, the list shows \u201cSeat #3.\u201d Apparently, the Commissioners still consider Senator Ted Alexander\u2019s appointment of Robert Queen to that Board as illegitimate.<\/p>\n

Other information:<\/p>\n

1.Luke Queen\u2019s election as Chairman of the School Board expires NEXT month, November 12th to be exact. I recommend Danny Blanton for that position as Chairman of the School Board. Mr. Blanton may not be a whiz at Robert\u2019s Rules of Order, but I am confident that he can learn. Even then would not use Robert\u2019s Rules of Order to stifle discussion near as much as Luke Queen. I recommend Dena Green for Vice-Chairman. It is time for her light to finally be allowed to shine.<\/p>\n

2.The State \u201cReport Card\u201d for Cleveland County Schools show CCS is near the bottom. Test score analysis of CCS show that black students are at the bottom of every educational measure. Reading, writing, math and such. The gap between black and white students at CCS has widened, and a new gap has been determined, Asian Students are shown to have created a lead over white students. Likely because the education of white students has been \u201cdumbed-down\u201d in an attempt to close the gap between the black and white students. It is like a \u201crace to the bottom\u201d between the black and white student educational opportunities at CCS. More on this later.<\/p>\n

3.The $35 Million Luke Queen plan to upgrade old schools is now certain to waste tax dollars for the next 30 years and prolong the resistance of the anti-merger groups in Shelby and Kings Mountain to all of those years. Leaving Burns and Crest, will without equal facilities with Shelby and Kings Mountain. The design of the new auditoriums at Burns and Crest is expected to be so poor and inadequate that the Auditoriums will be useless for use in their intended purpose. More on that later.<\/p>\n

Folks, stay tuned!!! The mess at CCS will likely continue until the public and voters finally demand proper actions from the CCS School Board.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
