Everybody knows New York City has the most politically egregious gun laws to keep guns out of people\u2019s hands and some of the highest crime rates in the nation. Everybody also knows that New York City is full of high-priced lawyers and liberal District Attorneys and Judges who carry their hate for the NRA with them to the courtrooms. Everybody also knows that crazy socialist and communist politicians, like AOC, ran off 25,000 high-paying Amazon jobs to advance their liberal gun-confiscating political agenda. Everybody knows that taxes are high and services are low in New York City. Everybody knows that the National Rifle Association was incorporated in New York City in 1871 for the purpose of defending the Second Amendment from bad laws and bad politicians.<\/p>\n

So, when the New York Attorney General from New York City, Letitia James, filed a $64 Million lawsuit against the NRA, in the name of helping NRA members, the NRA decided it had had enough. And developed a \u201cStrategic Plan.\u201d File for Bankruptcy. In In its own statement, the NRA pledged no immediate changes to its operations or workforce and said it was not insolvent, with LaPierre (NRA\u2019s President) adding that it was “as financially strong as we have been in years.”<\/p>\n

The NRA said it would continue to defend its members’ constitutional rights under the Second Amendment, which guarantees the right to keep and bear arms. Un-incorporate in New York City and re-incorporate in Dallas Texas. Where people have sense enough to welcome the NRA for what they do.<\/p>\n

This is what NY Attorney General Letitia James says, according to Yahoo News:
\n\u201cJames said in a statement on Friday. “We will not allow the NRA to use this or any other tactic to evade accountability and
\nmy office’s oversight<\/em>.”<\/p>\n

The NRA said it would continue to defend its members’ constitutional rights under the Second Amendment, which guarantees the right to keep and bear arms.
\nSo, who is right? Letitia James trying to make the NRA do what Letitia James wants them to do, under HER office\u2019s oversight. Or let the 5.7 million NRA Members themselves decide what the NRA will do!!<\/p>\n

This question is what separates me from the Shelby Star and other liberal news. I dig deeper to get more facts in order to make a logical conclusion.<\/p>\n

From Wikipedia: Wikipedia defines Letitia James as an activist. From her track record she is a liberal democrat\/socialist activist. However, this Wikipedia entry tells me all I need to know about Letitia James and her position on guns.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn June 2016, (Letitia) James attempted to pressure six financial institutions, including BB&T, Berkshire Bank, Citizens Financial Group, People’s United Bank, Regions Financial Corporation and TD Bank, into ending its practice of providing financial services to gun manufacturers.[27]BB&T was specifically requested to drop the accounts of SIG Sauer of New Hampshire, but denied the request.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Another, but a more subtle, aspect of NY Attorney General Letitia James activist approach is to sue, paid for by New York taxpayers, the NRA for \u201cdefrauding\u201d NRA members. But fraud is a crime. A serious crime.<\/p>\n

So, why did NY Attorney General Letitia James not have the NRA leadership that James said committed serious crimes, charge them with serious crimes! One has to conclude that jailing a criminal was not her purpose. Mainly because getting criminal convictions on slim to no evidence would be much more difficult. And, even if she did get convictions and the NRA leadership jailed, the NRA membership would just elect NEW leadership that would continue to support President Donald J. Trump and would continue to support gun rights and the Second Amendment. NO, just like NY Attorney Letitia James said in her own words, she wanted to control (or destroy) the NRA by using the \u201coversight\u201d of her own office.<\/p>\n

Such phony tactics by NY Attorney General Letitia James came straight out of the playbook of Black-Muslim activist Malcolm X as described in his 1964 speech; to \u201cuse all means necessary\u201d to accomplish your political agenda. Just like infiltrating the Republican peaceful protest on January 6, 2021 and blame President Trump for the infiltrator\u2019s violence. Just like the very likely widespread voter fraud in the 2021 Elections (remember the NC Ninth District elections for example). Just like Nancy Pelosi impeaching Trump for nothing for the second time. Just like Democrats shutting down Cleveland County Schools when there were ZERO cases of COVID in Cleveland County at the time. Just like the lazy, rogue and renegade CCS teachers, the Shelby Star and others, calling in the Devil Worshippers to threaten the NEW School Board Majority over the Ten Commandments. \u201cBirds of a feather tend to flock together\u201d is an old saying that certainly seems to apply here.<\/p>\n

And, the NRA, who decides to fight fire with fire from NY Attorney General Letitia James and her frivolous lawsuit, files for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy and plans to move to Texas.<\/p>\n

I say, let the NRA\u2019s 5.7 Million members decide who runs the NRA. And if moving to Texas is what they want to do, MORE Power to them. They probably should have moved out of New York City 50 years ago.<\/p>\n

I would also encourage the Cleveland County Economic Development folks to do some recruiting of businesses wanting desperately to get out of New York City. It should be easy pickings and the County taxpayers would not have to give out a bunch of incentives. Getting out of New York City would be incentive enough. But only recruit the business and leave the Yankees where they are. Let them \u201cstew in their own juices\u201d with the likes of AOC and NY Attorney General Letitia James.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
