Shame! Shame!! Shame!!! on The Episcopal Church of the Redeemer and their Members, Dr. Valori Mulvey Sherer, The Shelby Star, the Gay Pride Crowd and the North Carolina Piedmont Church of Wicca
Opinion By Robert A. Williams
The Bible is clear on homosexuality.
Leviticus 18:22 Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.
The Bible is also clear that Jesus preached “hate the sin, love the sinner.”
So where does the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer and their members, their Rector (whatever that is) Dr. Valori Mulvey Sherer, the Shelby Star, the Gay Pride Crowd and the Wiccan (witchcraft) crowd get off trying to ram the sin of homosexuality down the throats of citizens of Shelby and Cleveland County?
Folks, the Gay Pride crowd advocates for tolerance only when you tolerate them doing their homosexual acts. They twist Jesus’ teachings to mean “love the sin if you want to love the sinner.” This is wrong!!! Don’t fall for this deception. Do you want to go to Hell along with the homosexual crowd, who are proud of the abominable acts that they do? I don’t. Neither do the 80% of Cleveland County voters who voted against same-sex marriage a few years ago. That vote led the NC General Assembly to Amend the NC Constitution, rightly, to define marriage as between one man and one women-like the Bible and all of human history says. I suspect the actual number would have been much closer to 90% plus had the Shelby Star and others NOT twisted the so called Amendment One referendum around so many believed that if they voted for the Amendment they would be actually voting FOR same-sex marriage.
That is what the Shelby Star does and they always have, at least since Skippy Foster was involved. Skippy always advocated prostitution, gambling drinking and homosexuals doing what they do as a part of his libertarian based misconceptions. Anybody that keeps up with anything from the Star knows that.
But what about the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer, their Rector, Dr. Valori Mulvey Sherer and the members of that church that are hosting a gay pride even tomorrow? Who knows??? That crowd always seems to be sticking their nose into unconventional and mostly wrong thought. However, one way that I have of figuring out my opinion of the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer is to find out who is supporting their message. And what do I find? The North Carolina Piedmont Church of Wicca, represented by none other than the Rev. Tony Brown, is in the thick of supporting the Episcopals. Tony Brown has clearly stated on the Star’s Facebook account that the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer is what Christian Churches should be about and that Dr. Valoria Mulvey Sherer is the perfect example of the love that Christians should exhibit. So, the witchcraft people, whose roots go directly into Satanism, are endorsing the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer and Dr. Valori Mulvey Sherer. That is enough for me not to support the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer, Dr. Sherer and the church members. But more on Tony Brown and the Wiccans.
Tony Brown is a charter member of the local wiccans and a “top commenter” on the Star’s Facebook account. He has been for years, as well as a number of admitted homosexuals, local and from afar. The NCPCOW website has some interesting stuff on their leadership. Along with Tony Brown who aligns himself with the Greek God Dionysis (the God of rebirth, transformation, tragedy, comedy, unresolved paradox and wine (especially wine I suppose) is a Top Commenter on the Star’s Website. Others on the Wicca website associate themselves with various Greek, Roman and Egyptian Gods, Pagans, Druids, etc. They like to charm bees and help box turtles across the road and other such noble endeavors. But not a word about Jesus and Christians will be found on the Wicca website. Yet they are endorsing a supposedly Christian Church-the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer?? Also the Star’s internet presence has always been saturated with the witchcraft and homosexual crowd. The Star has many times banned Christians who do not agree with the gay and Wicca crowd. So much for tolerance from the Star. I have always wondered why Christians even bother with the Star’s internet and print issues for that matter. I also wonder right now why don’t the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer members just run off Dr. Valori Mulvey Sherer. Baptists would have run her off probably the first nanosecond after she invited the Gay Pride Crowd to use their Church for flaunting their “pride” for being gay and doing the things that they do. Thank God for the Baptists I say!!!!!!
Anyway, my conclusion is if the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer and their members invite the Gay Pride event, the Star promotes the event as well as the witchcraft crowd, be sure to be somewhere else when that event takes place. Over at the Fairground with the Baptists would be a good idea. I am sure the Spirit of the Lord will be with the Baptists and the Angels who destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah will be over at the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer taking names and sizing up the joint for their next round of destruction.
Call Elizabeth Baptist Church (704-482-6339) for the Fairground Rally information. If you are a member of the Episcopals and don’t like what is going on over there, consider visiting Elizabeth Baptist or another Baptist Church this Sunday. Your Soul will be glad you did.
