1.The School Board Member and High-Ranking Sheriff’s Department Officer Rodney Fitch report here-while-back, that Rodney Fitch was resigning from the School Board has been confirmed. Numerous sources report that Mr. Fitch is very hot-headed and made numerous statements that he was resigning from the School Board. But, changed his mind as I predicted
2.Sources also report that Rodney Fitch is so hot-tempered that he once got so angry that he slammed his fist into a concrete wall and broke his hand.
3.Rodney Fitch is now over the Cleveland County Jail. Sources have reported two incidents where female Jail employees jail employees have been protected by Rodney Fitch from disciplinary actions. One was the female employee who was caught by a Shelby Police Officer and charged with DWI. Another female employee was reported to have broken up the marriage of another officer and has been promoted to Master-Corporal and is over a “shift” at the jail.
4.The report that a high-ranking Sheriff’s Department official was fired for being suspected of “talking” to Robert A. Williams has been confirmed. I am remaining silent on that because my denial or confirmation would perhaps cause other illicit thought processes on whether or not additional “suspects” should be fired.
Also,
1.The new Cleveland County Justice Center Project that would build a new Courthouse-Jail building and associated offices complex was first estimated to cost $90 Million when I accidently discovered the Project in the new Cleveland County Budget. That estimate is now $120 million. My prediction is the actual cost will well exceed $150 Million. Enough to build eight to ten more Pinnacle Classical Academy K-12 sized schools. Enough to serve every school-aged child in Cleveland County with a brand-new school. And shut down the 29 existing schools at CCS in the process.
2.The New Hanover County as well as Cherokee County, from the coast to the mountains, face lawsuit jury awards of Multi-million dollars in individual lawsuits with dozens of identical situations in each County caused by the County DSS Department doing bad and unconstitutional acts. Cleveland County DSS has done the same bad and unconstitutional acts. Both the New Hanover County and the Cherokee County officials have been warned by their “liability” insurance carriers that they will no longer pay off on court awarded payments when County Employees do bad things. Both New Hanover and Cherokee Counties have filed lawsuits against their insurance providers in the hope that they, the County, will not have to pay the large jury awards that would cumulatively bankrupt each county. (Note: can you imagine any judge or jury making an insurance company pay for the bad acts of county or city employee??) Cleveland County, Cleveland County Schools and the City of Shelby each have pending legal actions against them that could financially be disastrous to Cleveland County, CCS and Shelby as well. Without further ado, I would recommend Cleveland County, Cleveland County Schools and the City of Shelby hire independent “Compliance Officers” whose job would be to provide assessments of the way business is done in each agency in Cleveland County and put a stop to the bad acts of the bad actors that have gotten themselves elected or appointed into high level public offices where the potential for graft and corruption is high.
Stay tuned folks, more is coming. It’s an election year.
